BEIJING: QCraft, a global autonomous driving leader, today announced its official entry into the Level 4 (L4) autonomous logistics sector, marking a major milestone in its commercialization roadmap and expanding its product portfolio beyond passenger mobility and Robobuses.

Working closely with Chery Commercial Vehicle, QCraft is integrating its L4 autonomous driving technology into Chery’s new commercial vehicle platforms to deliver a new generation of intelligent logistics vehicles. Chery Commercial Vehicle is a subsidiary of Chery Holding Group, China’s largest automotive exporter.

The partnership with Chery supports QCraft in creating a range of industrial applications that will accelerate the scaled rollout and operation of QCraft’s autonomous logistics solutions.

Autonomous logistics vehicles directly address core challenges in the logistics and delivery sector such as costs, speed, and labor shortages. By automating high-frequency, short-distance transport from warehouses to neighborhoods, they enhance last-mile efficiency, lower per-parcel costs, and provide stable delivery capacity during peak demand or labor constraints-making autonomous vehicles (AVs) a critical driver of logistics network modernization.

“Chery’s world-class manufacturing capability, along with the operational strength of QCraft’s other partners, equips us with a powerful foundation to commercialize autonomous logistics at scale,” said Dr. James Yu, CEO of QCraft. “This represents a significant step toward the large-scale realization of autonomous driving.”

Autonomous Logistics: A Core Part of QCraft’s L4 Roadmap

QCraft’s dedicated autonomous logistics vehicle, the Robovan, has already begun operations in Suzhou and Jinhua, China. It represents a cornerstone of QCraft’s long-term L4 roadmap and the company’s broader vision to deliver autonomous solutions across people and goods transport.

The Robovan builds on QCraft’s scalable data closed-loop architecture and proven technology foundation, which was developed through nearly one million mass-produced vehicles equipped with NOA (Navigate on Autopilot) intelligent assisted driving. Based on the large-scale mass production of NOA in the L2+ domain, QCraft has leveraged this to create a distinct advantage: a driving algorithm that evolves, allowing vehicles to “get smarter the more they drive.”

This shared platform allows for the rapid migration of autonomous driving capabilities from passenger mobility to logistics-enabling safe, reliable operation in dense urban environments and continuous algorithmic evolution through real-world data.

Technology and Market Leadership

QCraft is one of the only companies worldwide to have simultaneously achieved large-scale deployment of NOA intelligent assisted driving (L2+) and L4 autonomous driving solutions. Among current autonomous logistics players, the company is the only one combining deep L4 R&D DNA with extensive mass-production experience.

The company’s NOA solution is approaching the milestone of one million vehicles installed, securing a leading market share in China. In the L4 autonomous driving sector, QCraft offers full-stack autonomous driving solutions for global markets including China, Europe, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, and the Middle East, and has achieved normalized operation of hundreds of Robobuses and Robotaxis in 26 cities.

“Autonomous logistics is entering a stage of rapid market adoption,” said Dr. James Yu. “With Chery’s industrial scale, and our other strategic partners’ operational resources, QCraft’s L4 Robovan can accelerate the intelligent transformation of logistics networks and create long-term commercial value.”

About QCraft

QCraft is a global leader in L2++ to L4 autonomous driving (AD) solutions for automakers. Founded in Silicon Valley in 2019, the company has deployed its technology in nearly 1 million vehicles. Backed by a world-class R&D team and partnerships with leading OEMs and tech companies, QCraft combines proven large-scale adoption with industry-leading safety and efficiency to bring autonomous driving into real life.
