Cashless, data-driven access control platform successfully completes major mid-season transition for one of the nation’s largest carnival operators
ORLANDO, Fla.: TapNGo™, a leading provider of cashless and access-control technology for events and entertainment venues, has announced the addition of Wade Shows to its growing portfolio of clients. The transition marks a significant milestone for both organizations, as TapNGo successfully converted Wade Shows from their legacy system to its proprietary platform-mid-season-without disrupting operations.
The onboarding process, which began in June, required meticulous coordination, technical customization, and hands-on support from the TapNGo team. Despite challenges that came with switching systems during an active event season, both teams approached the transition with collaboration and transparency-ensuring a seamless experience for vendors, staff, and guests alike.
“Transitioning an entire midway operation while fairs are underway is no small feat,” said Shara Pathak, president of TapNGo. “Our team worked side-by-side with Wade Shows every step of the way-on-site, online, and on-call-to make sure their operations ran smoothly and their clients experienced zero interruption.”
Since the transition, TapNGo has powered more than 20 major events for Wade Shows, including the New York State Fair, Oklahoma State Fair, Delaware State Fair, Missouri State Fair, Nebraska State Fair, and the North Carolina State Fair - held in conjunction with Powers Great American Midways.
“Our goal is to continually improve the guest and client experience across our fairs,” said Frank Zaitshik, owner of Wade Shows. “TapNGo brought not only the right technology but the right attitude. Their hands-on service, attention to detail, and commitment to doing things right have made this partnership a real win for our team and for our fair partners.”
TapNGo’s cashless system connects payment accounts to RFID credentials, enabling secure, fast, and fully traceable transactions while eliminating fraud and employee theft. Real-time analytics provide instant insight into financials, crowd flow, and staffing efficiency, while rugged handheld scanners and self-service kiosks ensure reliability-even offline. Beyond technology, TapNGo’s standout differentiator is its service: clients have direct access to leadership seven days a week, with 24-hour support and on-site assistance when needed. The company also maintains a clear separation between its software and hardware partners, ensuring that TapNGo never takes custody of client funds-every transaction goes directly to the client’s own account, offering transparency and peace of mind.
