Global logistics executive brings three decades of supply-chain leadership to advance unified visibility in regulated material management
RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C.: GXP-Storage®, a life sciences leader in compliant, visible, and scalable material management, announced today the appointment of Nick Gennari, President of Global Healthcare & Life Sciences, Healthcare and Commercial Sales at FedEx, as an Independent Board Member, effective November 20, 2025.
With more than 30 years of global logistics and supply-chain leadership, Gennari brings deep expertise in healthcare transportation, cold-chain management and quality-controlled delivery. His appointment reflects GXP-Storage’s commitment to integrating storage and logistics to deliver complete lifecycle visibility-from materials in transit to those at rest.
“The life sciences industry has long treated storage and logistics as separate functions,” said Jeff Johnson, Founder and CEO of GXP-Storage. “Nick’s appointment represents our commitment to uniting those worlds. By bridging the gap between ‘at rest’ and ‘in transit,’ we’re delivering the visibility, quality and regulatory control our clients need across the full material lifecycle.”
A six-time recipient of FedEx’s highest individual honor-the Five Star Award-recognizing employees who deliver exemplary achievements across the company, Gennari has led operations and commercial strategy across the U.S., Europe, and Canada. His expertise in global healthcare logistics will support GXP-Storage’s vision to deliver integrated, compliant solutions for sponsors managing complex clinical and manufacturing networks.
“True value in life sciences comes when every stage of the material lifecycle-from shipment to long-term storage-is managed as one seamless, compliant process,” said Gennari. “GXP-Storage’s unified model delivers exactly that: real-time visibility, quality control and audit-ready integrity from end to end. I’m honored to join the Board and help advance this integrated approach for clients worldwide.”
GXP-Storage’s dual ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 20387:2018 certifications, purpose-built facilities and its validated GXP-Guardian® digital platform create one of the industry’s most comprehensive, audit-ready frameworks for regulated material management worldwide.
“GXP-Storage is shifting compliant storage from a requirement to a competitive advantage,” said Chris Hardy, Partner at Whistler Capital Partners and GXP-Storage Board Member. “Nick’s appointment demonstrates our commitment to building board-level expertise that directly serves our clients’ most pressing challenges. His track record of innovation in global logistics and regulated material management will accelerate our ability to deliver breakthrough, end-to-end solutions.”
