As Chinese State-Sponsored Hackers Deploy Autonomous Agentic AI at Scale, Cy4Secure’s Atomic-Level Encryption Stops Emerging Digital Threats Cold

SAN JOSE, Calif.: #AI--Cy4Data Labs, the first cybersecurity company to deliver true in-use data protection and unbreakable quantum-proof encryption, today announced that its flagship solution, Cy4Secure, can neutralize even the most advanced agentic AI attacks, including those orchestrated by state-sponsored adversaries. As autonomous attacks rapidly evolve, quantum-enabled computing will only amplify their destructive potential, but Cy4Secure’s atomic-level architecture encrypts every data field with a unique key, instantly demonetizing any stolen data and rendering both today’s threats and tomorrow’s quantum-accelerated attacks powerless.

Agentic AI deployed at scale by rogue state; Quantum capabilities will make it worse

In a groundbreaking new report released by Anthropic, the AI provider released its findings that a Chinese state-sponsored group utilized the company’s AI coding tool Claude Code Agentic AI to orchestrate complex tasks at scale with minimal human intervention. The group bypassed Claude Code’s extensive guardrails and, with alarming speed and efficiency, orchestrated an array of seemingly benign small compute tasks that, in aggregate, could be used for malicious purposes. Claude then infiltrated the targeted organizations, identified the most high-value databases in a fraction of the time it would have taken a team of hackers, executing 80-90 percent of tactical operations independently.

Further, as Q-Day, the day on which quantum technologies can break traditional encryption, looms large for governments, industry and academia, the bill for the harvest-now-decrypt-later attacks will come due, enabling bad actors to utilize brute force and other attack strategies to access data previously protected by current-day encryption technologies.

Cy4Secure neutralizes the combined threat of AI and quantum

With the combination of fast-evolving AI capabilities and the unprecedented compute performance that quantum computing is set to deliver by the end of the decade, a new approach to data security that neutralizes these threats and offers future-proof protection for vulnerable data assets is critical.

Cy4Secure's data-defined atomic-level encryption technology provides mathematically unbreakable protection that defends against both threats simultaneously. By uniquely encrypting each specific piece of data at the individual field or word level rather than applying blanket algorithmic rules, Cy4Secure eliminates the systemic patterns that both quantum computers and agentic AI rely on to break security.

Most critically, Cy4Secure protects data-in-use, securing it in the operational state in which agentic AI attacks are most dangerous, without the need to decrypt and expose data to bad actors. This architectural strategy ensures that when AI agents penetrate network perimeters or quantum systems break transmission encryption, the actual data remains completely inaccessible and unusable. This approach delivers:

  • Quantum-proof data protection: Data-defined atomic-level encryption is mathematically proven unbreakable, immune to quantum decryption capabilities because each data element has its own unique encryption profile with no algorithmic patterns to exploit
  • Data-in-use protection: Secures data during active processing and analysis with no need to decrypt, the critical vulnerability point where agentic AI systems typically extract and exploit information
  • No exploitable patterns: Data-defined encryption creates a unique protection for each piece of information, eliminating the algorithmic and systemic attacks that agentic AI excels at discovering and quantum computers can break through with brute force
  • Comprehensive coverage: Protects data across all three states - at rest, in transit, and for the first time, in use. The comprehensive approach ensures the security gaps that combined AI-quantum attacks would otherwise exploit through multi-vector approaches

“Cybercriminals will always find a new way to exploit your vulnerabilities, whether they are funded at the state-level or orchestrated by individual bad actors,” said Lance Smith, CEO & Cofounder, Cy4Data Labs. “By protecting data at the atomic level, Cy4Secure neutralizes these attacks providing mathematically unbreakable data security. Even when it is successfully extracted from your infrastructure, the data remains protected from the inside out, eliminating its value to spies, thieves and other parties who would use it for destructive purposes.”
