Zander Labs to actively seek U.S. partners for integration of neuroadaptive technology in 2026

BERLIN & SAN FRANCISCO: Zander Labs, a Dutch-German neuroadaptive AI company focused on passive brain-computer interfaces (pBCI) and human-computer interactive technology, is entering the U.S. market. With this move, the company aims to make its groundbreaking technology available to a broader range of organizations in sectors such as defense, mobility, robotics, healthcare and other human-centered AI applications and highly complex specialist jobs like air traffic controllers, medical specialists and trainers. In 2026, Zander Labs will actively seek partners in the United States, with a particular focus on companies on the West Coast (Bay Area and San Francisco) who are interested in integrating the company’s neuroadaptive AI platform to create smarter systems for their own solutions.

Enabling better collaboration between humans and machines

Zander Labs develops technology that enables computer systems to recognize human mental states - such as workload, focus, intent, and error recognition - and respond to them in real time. This is achieved through passive brain-computer interface technology, which continuously and subconsciously measures brain activity without requiring any active input from the user. The signals are captured and processed using hardware and software developed by Zander Labs. By combining these brain signals with contextual data and AI algorithms, the technology enables AI-powered systems to respond in a safer, more human-centered, more intuitive way.

Zander Labs’ technology enables new possibilities for existing systems: partners can integrate the pBCI solutions into their own software, hardware, or AI platforms, allowing AI to better understand and work alongside people.

European roots, global ambition

Zander Labs originated from a collaboration between Dutch and German researchers and engineers and operates multiple R&D locations in Europe. The company combines fundamental neuroscience research with applied AI and hardware development. With a multidisciplinary team of scientists, PhDs, and engineers, Zander Labs is building technology that fundamentally transforms human-computer interaction.

The future of neuroadaptive technology

With its expansion into the United States, Zander Labs further positions itself as one of the global frontrunners in neuroadaptive AI and passive brain-computer interfaces. Zander Labs expects neuroadaptive technology to play a key role in the coming years in sectors where safety and human wellbeing are paramount, from physical AI and robotics to autonomous systems, healthcare and defense. The combination of scientifically validated algorithms, scalable hardware and a privacy-first architecture makes it possible to responsibly connect human cognition with intelligent systems.

Jonathan Zwaan, CEO of Zander Labs: “Our technology is not an end product but a building block. We want to work with partners who share our belief that the future of AI and technology is neuroadaptive. The U.S. market offers a tremendous opportunity to integrate our neuroadaptive AI technology into new, innovative solutions. The recent developments and milestones we achieved show that we are technologically ready for the next step and are able to work with global partners on new use cases that will have global impact.”
