New agentic SOC, proactive threat defense, unified IT/OT protection, and flexible procurement power next-gen defense for public sector agencies

AUSTIN, Texas & WASHINGTON: Fal.Con Gov 2026 - CrowdStrike (NASDAQ: CRWD) today announced expanded capabilities in GovCloud, bringing more of the battle-tested Falcon® platform to U.S. public sector defenders. With new agentic automation, proactive threat defense, unified IT/OT protection, and flexible procurement within its Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) High-authorized environment, CrowdStrike is accelerating the public sector’s shift from manual operations to machine-speed defense – stopping AI-accelerated threats with precision and control.

“Federal agencies operate in one of the most targeted threat environments in the world and require the highest level of protection,” said Michael Sentonas, president of CrowdStrike. “Expanded Falcon platform capabilities in GovCloud enable public sector defenders to innovate at speed and stop breaches while maintaining the governance, accountability, and control that national security demands.”

AI Threats Against Government

Adversaries are weaponizing AI to move faster, evade detection, and scale campaigns, with critical infrastructure as a primary target. To fight AI with AI, federal defenders must operate under strict governance, regulatory, and accountability frameworks that adversaries do not face, deploying AI-driven automation without compromising standards or introducing new risk.

Agentic SOC for Public Sector

CrowdStrike leads the evolution of security operations, advancing analysts from alert handlers to orchestrators of the agentic SOC. Trained on expert-labeled data generated from years of stopping real breaches, CrowdStrike AI makes split-second decisions built on the industry’s richest security DNA. As one of the first cybersecurity companies to achieve ISO 42001 certification – the world’s first AI management system standard – and with FedRAMP High Authorization, the AI-native Falcon platform is purpose-built to stop advanced threats in highly regulated environments.

New and expanded capabilities available in GovCloud and supporting national security priorities include:

  • Charlotte AI for Gov: Joining CrowdStrike’s FedRAMP High-authorized Detection Triage Agent and automated actions in Charlotte Agentic SOAR, new Agentic Response and natural language conversation capabilities enable agencies to automate federal-specific workflows across the security lifecycle.
  • Malware Sandbox for Gov: Enables agencies to detonate suspicious files in an isolated environment designed to meet government requirements, capturing file behavior, identifying malicious activity, and delivering actionable intelligence.
  • External Attack Surface Management (EASM) for Gov: Provides outside-in visibility into internet-facing assets through Falcon® Exposure Management to identify unknown and unmanaged exposures, prioritize risk with patented ExPRT.AI, and map attack paths before impact.
  • Falcon for XIoT for Gov: Delivers native XIoT asset discovery, AI-powered risk prioritization, and unified IT/OT threat protection, eliminating blind spots across mission-critical operational and connected systems.
  • Falcon Flex for Gov: Transforms national cybersecurity procurement by enabling agencies to scale based on mission needs, eliminate rigid licensing models, and reduce waste from unused “shelfware.”
