OTTAWA, Ontario: Beacon Software, an AI-native technology holding company, today announced its acquisition of E2E Soccer Limited. E2E Soccer is the software backbone of competitive youth soccer in Canada, powering how leagues run their competitions and work with referees. In 2025, E2E Soccer supported over 100 leagues, 7,500 teams, and 120,000 games across Canada.
The acquisition brings E2E Soccer together with PowerUp Sports to form Canada's only full-stack soccer technology platform. Together, these companies deliver a best-in-class experience to the soccer community, from the moment a player registers at their club to the final whistle of a league match.
"As a proud Canadian soccer dad, I have long believed our soccer community deserves an integrated and purpose-built technology infrastructure that matches the sport's growth and ambition, particularly as we get ready to co-host the 2026 FIFA World Cup," said Nilam Ganenthiran, Founder and CEO of Beacon Software. "PowerUp and E2E each built something essential. Bringing them together means we can offer the soccer community a seamless experience from player registration through to league competition."
Bringing E2E Soccer and PowerUp together within the Beacon portfolio will allow for an integrated experience across registration, roster verification, league scheduling, referee assignment, and discipline management. Club registrars, league administrators, and governing bodies can look forward to a streamlined and modernized experience as Beacon leverages its technology team to accelerate product development for the everyday heroes who keep Canadian soccer running.
"This is a huge win for our loyal customers," said Tim Baigent, General Manager of E2E Soccer. "Our customers have been asking for deeper integration between their league and club systems. Partnering with Beacon gives us the technology and resources to deliver it."
"We're excited to work towards a comprehensive solution for soccer administrators across Canada, which will deliver technology efficiencies as the sport continues to grow nationwide," said Robert Meth, General Manager of PowerUp Sports.
Both E2E Soccer and PowerUp Sports will continue to operate under their current brands and leadership. As part of the Beacon ecosystem, both businesses will benefit from integrated operational support and additional investment. Existing customer contracts, support channels, and service levels remain unchanged.
