Veteran Marketing and Finance Leaders Bring Deep Cybersecurity, SaaS, and Growth-Stage Experience to Support iCOUNTER’s Next Phase of Expansion

DALLAS: iCOUNTER, the leader in proactive threat intelligence to outpace targeted cybe, third-party attacks and financial fraud, today announced two additions to its executive leadership team: Lisa Hayashi as Chief Marketing Officer and Bob Kalchthaler as Chief Financial Officer. The appointments deepen iCOUNTER’s leadership bench at a pivotal moment of growth and reinforce the company’s commitment to building a team with proven cybersecurity and high-growth operating credentials.

Hayashi brings more than two decades of experience in technology marketing, fundraising, and executive leadership, with deep expertise across cybersecurity, regulatory software, email security, and enterprise risk. She joins iCOUNTER from Mimic, where she served as Vice President of Marketing. Previously, she led marketing at Uptycs as VP of Marketing, and spent more than five years at SafeGuard Cyber, ultimately serving as Chief Marketing Officer. At SafeGuard Cyber, she led brand, product, and customer marketing alongside pivotal fundraising and rebranding initiatives, helping to position the company as a leader in cybersecurity for digital communications.

Kalchthaler is a seasoned cybersecurity and SaaS finance leader with a track record of guiding venture-backed companies through growth, scale, and capital markets. He joined iCOUNTER as CFO in February 2026. Prior to joining iCOUNTER, Kalchthaler served for over two years as Chief Financial Officer of Adlumin, the cloud-native security operations platform, where he oversaw finance through a period of significant growth. Earlier, he was CFO of Altruista Health, a healthcare management SaaS platform, both resulting in successful exits with a combined value of over half a billion dollars.

“Lisa and Bob each bring exactly the kind of operating experience iCOUNTER needs at this moment; Lisa’s track record of building category leaders in cybersecurity, and Bob’s depth scaling finance functions through high-growth chapters at companies our customers know well,” said John P. Watters, Chairman and CEO, iCOUNTER. “Together they make our executive team stronger as we accelerate.”

“iCOUNTER is doing what very few companies in cybersecurity are doing, and doing it with technical credibility and a clear customer focus,” said Lisa Hayashi, CMO, iCOUNTER. “I’m excited to help tell that story to a market that needs it.”

“What attracted me to iCOUNTER is the combination of a clear category opportunity and a team that knows how to execute,” said Bob Kalchthaler, CFO, iCOUNTER. “I’m looking forward to building the financial foundation for the next phase of growth.”
