MCLEAN, Va.: DEFCON AI today announced it has been awarded a $20M Prototype agreement for the base year in support of U.S. Marine Corps Logistics Command and Control (LogC2) modernization. The agreement covers a 5-year period that includes a base year plus four additional phases for a total of $115M over the course of the agreement.

With this agreement, DEFCON AI will support the delivery of the software and data that Marines need for lethality and success from critical training sites to amphibious warships to expeditionary operations around the globe. The agreement was awarded on behalf of Headquarters Marine Corps Installations and Logistics (I&L) under Other Transaction Authority (10 U.S.C. § 4022), aligned to the Marine Corps’ Project Dynamis and the Department of War’s Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2) constructs.

“Advanced logistics technologies are a critical capability in today’s fight in a contested environment,” said Col. Jose Gonzalez, HQMC I&L (LPI). “The Marine Corps must aggressively pursue industry partnerships that bring best-of-breed technologies to Marines at the most forward edge of the battlespace. We need to be able to understand the disposition of our resources, predictively forecast sustainment requirements, and leverage advanced analytical tools for decision advantage.”

In the first year, DEFCON AI will build and operate the technical foundation required to continuously receive, authorize, and field logistics command and control capabilities across the Marine Corps Enterprise Network, the warfighting network that provides Marines with excellence in cybersecurity, network operations, and command and control. This work will include operating the DevSecOps pipeline, supporting continuous authorization pathways, orchestrating multi-vendor integration efforts, and validating capabilities through operationally relevant exercises that reflect the friction and uncertainty of real-world operations.

"The defining strength of the Marine Corps is the individual Marine. Our job is to get capability into their hands faster - cutting the time from development to deployment so Marines can operate effectively from CONUS training ranges to amphibious warships to the weapons engagement zone," said Lt Gen Jerry Glavy, USMC (Ret), Vice President of Marine Programs, DEFCON AI.
