Channel veterans from Google Cloud Security, Mandiant, and Adlumin join iCOUNTER to build its global partner program
DALLAS: iCOUNTER, the leader in Third-Party Risk Intelligence and Counter Threat Operations, today announced the appointments of Rick LaCoume as Senior Director, Americas Channels and Jess Simon as Senior Global Director of Partnerships & Alliances. Together, they will lead iCOUNTER's global partner ecosystem strategy as the company looks to build out its formal partner program.
LaCoume and Simon bring a combined 30-plus years of channel leadership experience across the cybersecurity and enterprise technology industries. LaCoume most recently held senior channel leadership positions at Adlumin, acquired by N-able, and Keepit. Simon joins from Google Cloud Security, where she served as Global Strategic Programs & Security Partner Lead and a primary architect of the Google Security Partner Program, following leadership roles at Mandiant, FireEye, and Ingram Micro.
"Rick and Jess bring exactly the kind of channel leadership that a partner ecosystem built on trust and intelligence requires," said John Watters, Chairman and CEO of iCOUNTER. "They have each built and scaled partner programs inside some of the most respected names in cybersecurity, giving them a rare vantage point on what makes an ecosystem work. As iCOUNTER scales its partner program, their ability to build and lead a world-class partner function will be essential to how we grow."
As Senior Director of Channel, LaCoume will lead iCOUNTER's North America channel strategy, partner ecosystem, and growth initiatives, working to expand strategic partnerships and accelerate partner-driven revenue. As Global Director of Partnerships & Alliances, Simon will lead the architecture of iCOUNTER's partner frameworks, drawing on her experience designing indirect and distribution programs at scale.
"Third-party risk intelligence is one of the fastest-growing blind spots in cybersecurity, and partners are how organizations actually close that gap," said Rick LaCoume. "I've spent my career helping partners turn intelligence into a competitive advantage for their customers, and iCOUNTER's platform gives partners something rare; the ability to see risk before it becomes a breach. I'm excited to build a channel organization that reflects that same precision."
"The best partner ecosystems are engineered, not improvised," said Jess Simon. "iCOUNTER has the opportunity to build a program from the ground up that's designed for how partners actually operate today, across distribution, MSSPs, and strategic alliances. I'm looking forward to architecting that foundation and giving our partners the tools they need to grow alongside us."
