Twenty-year ecosystem and alliances executive joins Token to lead partner strategy as the company enters its next phase of enterprise growth - and as identity assurance becomes the defining security priority of the AI era.

ROCHESTER, N.Y.: #AI--Token, the biometric identity assurance company, today announced the appointment of Keith Ramee as Head of Partnerships. A strategic partnerships and business development executive with more than 20 years of experience building high-impact technology ecosystems, Ramee joins Token from Yubico, where he served as Vice President of Global Partnerships and Alliances. He joins Token’s revenue organization, reporting to Chief Revenue Officer Katy Nelson, and will lead partner strategy as the company enters its next phase of growth and scale with enterprise customers.

The appointment comes as identity becomes the control point for enterprise security. Credential compromise remains the leading cause of enterprise breaches, and AI has made the problem structurally worse - phishing, deepfakes, and social engineering now operate at machine speed, while the credentials underneath have not fundamentally changed. As enterprises move AI agents from advisory roles into operational workflows, a second question has emerged: who, exactly, approves the high-consequence actions those agents are now capable of taking? Token’s cryptographic biometric identity assurance answers both by proving the human, not just the credential - binding access and approval to a verified, physically present person through on-device biometric authentication enforced on secure hardware.

That model reaches the enterprise through partners. Token is forging alliances across identity providers, cloud platforms, technology integrations, and the global channel, and the TokenCore product line - including the TokenCore Wearable, TokenCore Portable, and TokenCore Node - is built to integrate with the IAM, SSO, and PAM infrastructure organizations already run. It does not replace the identity stack; it completes it. Ramee will own that ecosystem strategy, with responsibility for hyperscaler alliances, product integrations, and channel development as Token scales enterprise deployment.

“Enterprises are not looking for another authentication product to bolt on. They are looking for identity assurance that works inside the stack they already run,” said Kevin Surace, CEO of Token. “That happens through partners. Keith has built the kind of ecosystems that turn strong technology into a standard, and he is joining at the moment this market is ready to move.”

At Yubico, Ramee spearheaded the company’s worldwide technology alliance strategy, scaling its global program and strengthening ties with Microsoft, AWS, Okta, and Cisco while aligning product, engineering, and sales teams behind it. Across a career spanning cybersecurity, identity, and AI, he has negotiated complex agreements and launched scalable go-to-market strategies through periods of rapid expansion, acquisition, and public market exits. Most recently, he advised executive teams on ecosystem strategy and go-to-market transformation across AI, cloud, and cybersecurity partnerships. Ramee holds an MBA from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business and a B.A. in Economics from Stanford University.

“Every serious security conversation now ends in the same place: organizations can no longer be certain who is on the other end of a credential,” said Ramee. “Token answers that at the hardware level, and it strengthens the identity investments enterprises have already made rather than competing with them. That combination is what makes an ecosystem worth building, and it is why I joined.”
