90-Minute Data Center Community Relations Session Will Cover Media Relations, Community Benefit Agreements, Town Hall Strategy, and Other Tools for Navigating Public Engagement
BOSTON: Milldam Public Relations, a leading public relations and community engagement firm specializing in the digital infrastructure space, today announced that its President, Adam Waitkunas in collaboration with the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), will host a 90-minute virtual training session on August 21 from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. EST, focused on helping companies navigate media and community responses to data center development.
As the data center industry continues to face increasing public scrutiny, engineering firms are being asked to go beyond design and technical expertise to help clients manage community engagement, political and social risk, and public perception. This training will give participants practical tools to assess community readiness, identify potential risks, build proactive engagement plans, prepare for town halls and public meetings, and manage media relations throughout a project's lifecycle.
What Participants Will Learn:
“The technical merits of a data center project are only part of the equation today,” said Adam Waitkunas, President of Milldam Public Relations. “Projects also need community trust and a clear strategy for earning it. Engineering firms are increasingly on the front lines of these conversations, and this training is designed to give them practical tools to help their clients engage earlier, communicate more effectively and avoid the mistakes that can quickly turn community concerns into organized opposition.”
The session is part of a two-part ACEC program equipping engineering firms with the insights needed to navigate public perception, manage opposition, and strengthen project outcomes for mission-critical facility projects. Register Here!
