WEST CHESTER, Ohio: TJC, L.P. (“TJC”) today announced that it has entered into an agreement to make a strategic investment in 3dB Labs, Inc. (“3dB Labs”, “3dB” or the “Company”) in partnership with the 3dB founders and management team.

Founded in 2004 and headquartered in West Chester, Ohio, 3dB Labs is a leading provider of radio frequency signal processing and spectrum analysis solutions, enabling customers to collect, visualize, record and analyze the electromagnetic spectrum to gain intelligence and improve situational awareness. The Company’s cutting-edge technologies help government agencies, allied governments and commercial customers achieve enhanced security to protect data and critical infrastructure. The Company employs approximately 130 full-time employees across four U.S. locations.

At the core of 3dB’s offering is Sceptre, a state-of-the-art software suite for visualizing, processing and analyzing the RF spectrum in real time. The Company has extended this software engine into a suite of purpose-built hardware products to help customers achieve exceptional performance and results across a wide variety of applications.

“For more than twenty years, our mission has been to build the most capable and trusted tools for understanding the RF spectrum, and to stand behind the customers who rely on them. This partnership marks an exciting next chapter for 3dB. TJC shares our commitment to that mission and brings the resources, operational expertise and proven track record to help us serve our customers even better, invest in our people and accelerate our growth – while preserving the culture and independence that have defined us from the start.”

– Dave Evans, Chief Executive Officer, 3dB Labs

Similar to its other industrial technology investments, TJC intends to provide 3dB Labs with significant capital resources and access to its market ecosystem to support organic growth, infrastructure buildout, operational scaling initiatives and strategic acquisitions.

“3dB Labs has built an exceptional, deeply experienced team, a strong customer-centric culture, and a mission-critical technology platform that is deeply embedded in its customers’ operations. We are thrilled to partner with the 3dB Labs team and support the Company as it enters its next phase of growth.”

– Erik Fagan, Partner, TJC

3dB’s management team and employee base will retain significant ownership in the Company going forward. The transaction is expected to close during the fourth quarter of 2026.

ArkMalibu served as exclusive sell-side advisor to 3dB Labs, and Robbins, Kelly, Patterson & Tucker (RKPT) served as legal counsel to 3dB Labs. Kirkland & Ellis LLP served as legal counsel to TJC.
