Regional Vice President for Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia will scale the company’s enterprise presence as organizations move AI in HR from experimentation to core infrastructure.

SINGAPORE: #AI--Darwinbox, the AI-native human capital management (HCM) platform built for Asia-first enterprises, today announced the appointment of Pannie Sia as Regional Vice President for Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia. In this role, Sia will lead go-to-market strategy, sales team development, and enterprise customer growth across the three markets.

The appointment comes as Darwinbox deepens its enterprise footprint across Southeast Asia, following the launch of Darwinbox Cortex, the company’s AI-native platform designed to help large organizations hire, retain, and enable talent across the entire employee lifecycle. Sia brings more than 20 years of enterprise technology experience from IBM, SAP, Workday, and ServiceNow, working with organizations across Asia Pacific and Japan through successive shifts in technology, business model, and the nature of work itself.

“What drew me to Darwinbox is its ability to bring technology and people together in a way that actually changes how work gets done. Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia are three very different operating realities, and enterprises here need a platform built with that complexity in mind and not adapted to it after the fact, unlike legacy players. With Cortex, Darwinbox is uniquely placed to lead that shift. My focus is straightforward: amplify the potential of every employee across the organizations we serve.”

- Pannie Sia, Regional Vice President - Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia, Darwinbox

Sia’s career has spanned building and scaling regional teams, growing enterprise businesses, and advising customers across some of the most operationally diverse markets in the world. Her appointment reflects Darwinbox’s continued investment in regional leadership as Asia Pacific and Japanese enterprises accelerate their adoption of agentic and AI-native HR infrastructure.

“Southeast Asia has shown great intent in leading the global charge to scale with AI. Pannie has spent two decades helping large organizations across APAC navigate exactly the kind of transition our customers are in the middle of now. She understands both the enterprise buyer and the regional nuance that determines whether a platform actually works in these markets. Her focus is Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia-scaling our presence there and making sure enterprises receive the depth they need, not a global product with local settings.”

- Rohit Chennamaneni, Co-founder, Darwinbox

Darwinbox has a strong presence in Southeast Asia, serving large enterprises across industries, including Banyan Group, Singlife, Singapore Land, Indorama, Ben Line Agencies, Sembcorp, Traveloka, Mitra Adiperkasa, Home Credit, Gunung Raja Paksi, SMBC, Mayapada Hospital, Sari Roti, UEM Group, Carsome, and 2X Marketing.
