SAN FRANCISCO: $WIZERR #AIForManufacturing--Wizerr AI (https://wizerr.ai) today announced the expansion of its ELX component intelligence engine to component manufacturers. FAE and sales engineering teams get Engineering AI capable of answering deep technical component questions, along with a Decision API that puts the same reasoning directly on manufacturer websites.
The premise is simple. The same Wizerr engine OEMs and ODMs use to pick a component, or its alternate, is exactly what the manufacturer needs to win the design.
Today those decisions are constrained by fragmented & complex datasheets, static product pages, manual cross-referencing, and FAE teams that cannot possibly engage with every engineer evaluating a component. Every unanswered technical question is a design-in the manufacturer may never get.
From answering questions to accelerating design wins
FAE and sales engineering teams routinely field questions that demand real engineering judgment. Can this component operate under these conditions? What is the closest replacement for a competing part, and is it truly pin-compatible? How does performance change under voltage, temperature, and load? Answering them means working through datasheets, curves, pinouts, application notes, and product families by hand.
Cross-referencing is the sharpest example. A manufacturer knows its own parts. Wizerr knows its parts and every other part they compete with. That's the difference between a lookup table and a real cross-reference.
Wizerr's ELX engine already performs this reasoning at scale for OEM and ODM engineering and supply-chain teams. Two capabilities are now available to manufacturers:
Engineering AI for FAE and sales engineering. Wizerr reasons across datasheets, electrical characteristics, pinouts, operating conditions, packages, and component families to answer technical questions and evaluate alternatives in minutes, freeing FAE teams to focus on the highest-value design engagements.
Decision API for manufacturer websites. Manufacturers bring Wizerr's reasoning into their own digital experience. Instead of stopping at parametric search or a PDF, an engineer researching a part on the manufacturer's site can find cross-references, evaluate compatibility, and get engineering-grade answers on the spot.
One engine, both sides of the market
ELX already helps OEM and ODM teams reason across component performance, compatibility, lifecycle, supply, and cost. By pointing the same engine at the supplier side, Wizerr is building a common intelligence layer around the most consequential decision in hardware development: which component goes into the design.
"Every component manufacturer has extraordinary technical knowledge inside its FAE and technical marketing organization. But that expertise cannot be present for every engineer, every question, and every component evaluation," said Avinash Harsh, co-founder and CEO of Wizerr AI. "Engineering AI changes that. The same depth of intelligence is now available to the FAE team and to every engineer researching a component online."
Lumissil brings engineering-grade cross-reference to its website
Lumissil Microsystems, a leading analog and mixed-signal IC manufacturer, is currently using the Wizerr Decision API to enable engineers to find up-to-date component cross-references directly through their website, bringing technical component intelligence closer to the point where engineers are evaluating parts.
"Engineers want cross-reference answers when they're evaluating part alternatives, not a day later after someone gets around to it. With Wizerr's Decision API, they can fetch cross-references straight from our website and get scored answers within seconds. We partnered with Wizerr for their AI-driven engineering ability to identify suitable matches across our IC portfolio." - Lyn Zastrow, VP of Marketing & Sales, Lumissil Microsystems
