Company Accelerates Output to Meet Demand from U.S. and Allied Nations for Mission-Critical Hardware

AUSTIN, Texas: ACS, a precision robotics company for defense, today announced a new 191,000 square-foot manufacturing facility in Austin, Texas to rapidly scale production of its Bullfrog™ autonomous weapon station. The expansion will enable ACS to meet the accelerating demand for Bullfrog from U.S. and allied nations facing the escalating threat of low-cost weaponized drones.

Bullfrog, which combines computer vision, autonomous control, and precision robotics with existing weapon systems to provide a scalable counter-drone solution, is deployed with the U.S. Army and Navy and validated through contracts with Joint Interagency Task Force 401 and several allied militaries. The system was recently selected by the Marine Corps for its critical Ground Based Air Defense (GBAD) program.

“The United States and allied nations have sent us a clear message: they need Bullfrog to safeguard U.S. and allied forces and critical infrastructure from this omnipresent threat, now,” said Mike Wior, co-founder and CEO, ACS. “We’re building the production capacity so Bullfrog is at the ready when and where it is needed most, and we’re proud to do our part to support the reindustrialization of American manufacturing in the process.”

“Advanced defense production is a national security imperative,” said Laura Komkov, Chief Operating Officer, ACS. “By expanding our manufacturing capabilities and highly skilled workforce, we are further strengthening our ability to produce and deliver mission-critical hardware to the field as quickly as possible.”

The expansion reflects ACS's continued investment in building the domestic industrial capacity and skilled workforce required to produce next-generation defense systems at scale, with significant hiring planned across engineering, manufacturing, quality, testing, and supply chain roles.
