New PCR × Pogo Pin hybrid contact technology designed to address the evolving requirements of advanced IC testing

Extending PCR Technology to AI/HPC Testing

UltraConduct™ features a hybrid Pogo Pin × PCR contact structure, combining the complementary characteristics of both technologies. The design leverages the mechanical travel and temperature tolerance of pogo pins, together with the low contact resistance and compliant contact characteristics of PCR.

This hybrid architecture helps mitigate the risk of solder ball damage and reduce reflow requirements, while its long-stroke design provides enhanced compliance to accommodate package warpage in large packages, helping maintain contact stability and signal integrity during testing.

Designed for advanced IC testing, ATE applications, and high-power AI/HPC devices, UltraConduct™ supports packages with over 10,000 pins under demanding electrical and mechanical conditions.
