The water network management software unifies multiple data sources and analytics from various platforms, further bolstering the company’s offerings for the water technology industry.
MILWAUKEE: Badger Meter, Inc. (NYSE: BMI), a leading provider of water management solutions, introduced OneNetwork, a real-time network monitoring and analysis platform providing water distribution, wastewater collection and stormwater system managers with a unified, real-time view of their diverse network asset and sensor data. The announcement comes during WEFTEC, the annual water event, hosted this year in New Orleans, Louisiana.
“OneNetwork gives water and wastewater utility teams a single, real-time view of network conditions without requiring them to replace existing SCADA or GIS investments,” said Matt Stuyvenberg, Executive Vice President, SaaS, Global Commercial and International Utility at Badger Meter. “By bringing Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), network monitoring and water quality data together in one platform, utilities can identify issues sooner, coordinate response faster and make more informed operational decisions.”
OneNetwork extends the value of software and analytics offered by Badger Meter by further connecting the BlueEdge® portfolio, the suite of smart water management solutions, water technology, software and services for continuous water management. OneNetwork builds upon the company’s success and adds to its software solutions which have been purpose-built for the modern needs of the water industry.
OneNetwork helps utilities understand the health and performance of their networks to see clearer, act faster and manage smarter.
Proactive Network Event Management
Water and wastewater utilities manage highly diverse infrastructure using SCADA systems, GIS platforms and point sensors that rarely talk to one another. That fragmentation slows response to network events, including main breaks, water quality and pressure anomalies. To enable targeted operational response and prioritize capital investment where it matters most, connected data is necessary.
OneNetwork delivers network visibility and connectedness through:
Stuyvenberg continued: “Utilities don't lack data-they are drowning in disconnected data and need a unified, real-time picture of what that data means for their network right now. OneNetwork gives utility teams that shared picture so they can detect issues earlier, respond faster and act with purpose together.”
A New Approach to Network Visibility
On Monday, September 28, Matt Stephenson, Director, Software Product Management with Badger Meter will share more information about OneNetwork during a Product Launch Pad Presentation on the WEFTEC Green Stage at 1 p.m. CST. The presentation, titled “Zero Blind Spots: OneNetwork-A New Approach to Network Visibility” will introduce OneNetwork with a walk through of the software in action, including compelling use cases that exhibit the unique value of OneNetwork and demonstrates the difference between OneNetwork and other systems.
OneNetwork will first be available to North American water and wastewater utilities starting September 2026, with plans to expand the offering globally soon. Utilities interested in learning more are invited to attend the presentation and meet with a member of the Badger Meter team at WEFTEC 2026 in Booth 2028. Not at WEFTEC? Request a demo and a member of our team will be in touch.
