Veteran cardiovascular imaging and diagnostics sales leader to drive go-to-market strategy as Elucid prepares for FDA clearance of FFR-CT
BOSTON: #YesCCT--Elucid, a medical technology company using AI-powered, clinically validated software to advance precision diagnosis of cardiovascular disease, today announced that Mark Miller has joined the company as chief revenue officer (CRO). Miller will sit on Elucid's leadership team and report directly to CEO Kelly Huang, PhD. He joins the company ahead of the launch of its comprehensive cardiovascular platform, which is comprised of its FDA-cleared Plaque-IQ™ and its BioIntegrated FFR-CT software, pending FDA clearance.
Miller has more than 25 years of experience building and scaling sales organizations across cardiovascular imaging, cardiac diagnostics, and AI-enabled clinical decision support, grounded in a clinical foundation in cardiopulmonary science. He spent a decade between GE Healthcare and Philips, selling directly into cardiology practices and electrophysiology labs. Also, Miller served as vice president of sales at Cassling, a regional distribution and solutions partner for Siemens Healthineers, where he held full P&L responsibility across imaging, procedural, and clinical workflow solutions, scaling bookings and leading a commercial team of more than 40 professionals across sales, customer success, revenue operations and solution sales.
"Mark brings a combination of sales leadership, hands-on clinical credibility in our CT cardiology ecosystem, and the repeatable go-to-market agility and discipline we need to scale our commercial momentum upon FDA clearance of our BioIntegrated FFR-CT software," said Elucid CEO Kelly Huang. "This is a big step towards our commercial launch, and I couldn't be more confident in the team we're building to meet the moment."
"Elucid is doing something genuinely rare in this space. It is applying rigorous, histology-validated science to give physicians a clearer picture of cardiovascular risk," said Miller. "Having spent my career on the front lines of the CT cardiology ecosystem, I've seen firsthand how clinicians need better tools to guide treatment decisions. I'm excited to build the commercial engine that gets this technology into the hands of the physicians and patients who need it most."
About Elucid
Elucid is a Boston-based medical technology company that develops AI to see invisible features of cardiovascular risk. The company is dedicated to developing a clinical platform to help physicians deliver CCTA-guided personalized care by providing a more precise view of atherosclerosis, the root cause of cardiovascular disease. The company's FDA-cleared Plaque-IQ™ image analysis software is designed to help physicians prioritize and personalize treatment based on actual disease, rather than population-based risk of disease. Plaque-IQ equips physicians with critical information regarding the type and amount of plaque in arteries that can lead to heart attack and stroke. Elucid is also pursuing an indication for FFR-CT, which helps physicians identify coronary blockages and the extent of a patient's ischemia non-invasively. Elucid’s BioIntegrated FFR-CT software, which integrates anatomy, plaque biology, and physiology, is derived from its plaque algorithm, resulting in concordance with its plaque analysis.
