SEATTLE: #MyFreeScoreNow--MyFreeScoreNow today announces the expansion of free tools available to all members with complimentary accounts to include Optimal Path™ from Equifax, an artificial intelligence-powered credit planning capability that helps consumers meet their credit score goals through personalized recommendations and actionable guidance.
Since first becoming available to the public in March 2026, more than 230,000 consumers have enrolled on the new MyFreeScoreNow platform, with more than 15,000 MyFreeScoreNow users already creating personalized credit score improvement plans using Optimal Path. The strong early adoption reflects growing consumer demand for financial tools that provide personalized guidance designed around their unique credit profile and financial goals rather than generic credit education.
“Optimal Path was designed to reach consumers at every step of their financial journey, with deeply personalized plans that encourage more engagement and financial improvement than generic credit-building tools," said Felipe Castillo, Chief Product Officer for U.S. Information Solutions at Equifax. "Consumers can set their credit score goal, identify specific action steps to meet that goal, and visualize how the steps they've taken have helped them get closer to their goal each month."
By transforming complex credit data into clear, personalized recommendations Optimal Path provides a personalized roadmap that identifies actions that can help a consumer meet their credit score goal. Whether preparing to purchase a home, finance a vehicle or simply improve their financial well-being, consumers can establish personalized credit goals and receive recommendations tailored specifically to their circumstances.
"Data insights shouldn't be reserved for lenders or financial professionals, it should help everyday consumers make smarter financial decisions," said Bruce Cornelius, CEO of MyFreeScoreNow. "Equifax has developed an exceptional capability through Optimal Path. By making Optimal Path available to our customers, we're giving consumers a personalized roadmap that helps them build stronger credit and move closer to their financial goals."
With customer adoption accelerating, MyFreeScoreNow plans to continue rolling out new features, enhanced functionality and additional tools designed to improve conversion, increase engagement and create new revenue opportunities for its partners.
