GREENBELT, Md.: Entarian has named Cale Husted Senior Vice President of Defense, strengthening the company’s leadership team as it expands its investment in technology solutions designed to address complex defense missions. Husted’s promotion comes as Entarian invests more in internal mobility and professional development for its staff.
Husted brings more than 20 years of experience leading high-growth organizations, managing complex federal portfolios, and overseeing mission-critical programs. In his new role, he will lead Entarian’s $150 million Defense business, overseeing operational performance, and customer engagement, while working closely with the company’s solutions organization to deliver integrated capabilities to defense customers.
“Defense customers are being asked to operate faster and more effectively in increasingly complex environments,” said Mark Lee, Entarian’s chief executive officer. “Cale understands both the mission and the operational realities behind it. His ability to bring together technology, people and execution makes him the right leader to grow our Defense business and deliver solutions that improve mission outcomes.”
Husted previously led Entarian’s Maritime Operations portfolio supporting the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard, overseeing more than 170 professionals and approximately $53 million in annual revenue. As Vice President of Operations at Sev1Tech and Geocent, he helped scale the company to more than $75 million in annual revenue and built Geocent’s Department of Homeland Security portfolio from inception to a team of more than 125 employees.
“I’ve spent much of my career working alongside customers to understand what the mission requires and aligning the people, technology and resources needed to deliver,” Husted said. “I’m excited to build on Entarian’s capabilities to help our Defense customers operate with greater speed, resilience and effectiveness.”
Husted’s appointment reflects Entarian’s continued investment in its Defense business and in its integrated solutions capabilities.
