Company introduces new AEO Agent to help marketers influence how agents discover and recommend their brands

SAN FRANCISCO: Demandbase, the pipeline engine for AI GTM, today announced the launch of three new AI agents designed to empower B2B marketers as they expand their strategies to include business-to-agent (B2A) marketing. Among the three agents unveiled at the company’s annual GO conference in New York City is the AEO Agent, which tracks and influences how AI assistants portray brands, down to specific members of the buying group. The new agents build on the company’s recent launch of Mojo, the B2B marketing agent, and extend Demandbase’s agentic marketing capabilities through a headless architecture designed to meet marketers wherever they work.

Businesses increasingly rely on AI agents to research products, compare vendors and recommend solutions, presenting a new challenge for marketers: influencing purchasing decisions before making any direct contact with prospective customers. Gartner predicts that 90% of B2B buying will be intermediated by AI agents by 2028, representing more than $15 trillion in enterprise spending.

B2A marketing extends traditional B2B marketing to a new audience of AI-powered agents that are playing an increasingly important role in purchasing decisions. The B2A model makes a company’s brand and products discoverable, understandable and credible to AI agents that research and recommend vendors to buyers.

“Marketing to people isn’t enough anymore because buyers no longer start with a search,” said Gabe Rogol, CEO of Demandbase. “They start with an agent. And those agents are deciding which brands get seen and which get overlooked. To compete, marketers must shape what AI agents say about their brands, and be able to do it from where they already work.”

With Demandbase’s new AEO Agent, marketers can now:

  • Understand how AI perceives their brand: Drawing on more than 342 million contacts across 13 million companies, marketers can now compare how major AI assistants describe and recommend their company to each individual buying group member, assess visibility across relevant questions and identify sources informing AI-generated answers.
  • Turn AEO insights into action: Teams can spot outdated information and content gaps, then activate Demandbase agents to launch campaigns that improve AEO positioning without leaving the platform.
  • Improve sales engagement: Marketers can identify anonymous AI-driven traffic at the account and contact level to inform sales outreach based on where buyers are in their journey.

Demandbase also introduced two additional agents to its suite, advancing how marketers reach potential customers:

  • The new Campaign Agent connects campaigns to revenue goals, identifies performance gaps and recommends adjustments. It can also coordinate with specialized agents to address issues across campaign planning and execution.
  • The new Audience Agent builds and maintains audiences based on ideal customer profiles, buying groups and account activity. It keeps audiences current, identifies missing buying group members and helps ensure readiness for activation.

All of these agentic marketing capabilities build on Demandbase’s Mojo, which develops campaign briefs, builds audiences and executes campaigns across connected marketing tools. The agents reduce manual work while keeping marketers in control, and free human teams to focus on the strategic and creative decisions that require their judgment and expertise.

A key part of Demandbase’s agentic marketing strategy is its headless architecture, bringing Demandbase intelligence and AI capabilities directly into the tools where marketers already work. Rather than spending time switching between platforms or moving data across systems, teams can access Demandbase intelligence through their existing AI assistants, custom agents and collaborative work apps using APIs and Model Context Protocol (MCP) connections.

At the core of Demandbase’s suite of agents is the Marketing Brain, a shared intelligence engine that combines 20 years of B2B expertise with each customer’s unique business context. It powers every agent and gets smarter with every interaction and result, continuously improving marketing performance.

GO, which takes place on October 20 in New York City, is Demandbase’s twice-yearly customer conference where industry experts and leaders come together in London and NYC to discuss the future of AI-driven go-to-market strategies.
