DULUTH, Ga.: SIMPL Wireless, a provider of intelligent IoT connectivity solutions, today announced the availability of Beyond Connectivity Management: How Thales and SIMPL Enable Enterprise Control of IoT Connectivity, a white paper developed jointly with Thales. The paper explains how enterprises running IoT fleets across many operators and countries can move from simply connecting devices to fully controlling that connectivity. It is available now as a free download at justsimpl.com.
IoT connectivity has become a strategic operational asset. As deployments grow across operators, geographies, and regulatory environments, managing connectivity shifts from a technical task to an operational challenge. Fixed carrier relationships and manual processes no longer keep up.
The white paper describes a new operating model built on three complementary pillars:
Thales provides the trusted foundation through its GSMA SGP.32-compliant eSIM technology and eSIM orchestration and automation capabilities. SIMPL extends that foundation with Compass and EverSIM, which together form SIMPL's Intelligent Connectivity Layer for IoT. Compass is a unified management and connectivity intelligence layer with Connectivity Management Platform (CMP) capabilities. EverSIM is a multi-profile eSIM that brings flexibility directly into the device.
SIMPL Wireless' "Buy, Bring, Blend" commercial model lets organizations combine SIMPL's native connectivity with their own mobile network operator (MNO) relationships, all managed through Compass, which provides unified visibility and connectivity intelligence across multi-operator environments. Working with Thales and Tier-1 carriers, SIMPL has cut eSIM integration timelines that historically took up to a year down to days. Enterprises can design one product, deploy it anywhere, and keep connectivity adaptable for the life of the device, without costly hardware changes.
Together, the companies' solutions give enterprises four kinds of flexibility:
"Enterprises want to design one product, deploy it globally, and stay in control of its connectivity long after it ships," said Ryan Keefe, Chief Product Officer at SIMPL Wireless. "With Compass and EverSIM built on Thales' SGP.32-compliant eSIM foundation, our customers can buy, bring, or blend carrier connectivity while benefiting from unified visibility across connectivity environments and greater control of multi-operator deployments, adapting connectivity throughout the device lifecycle without touching the hardware."
"SGP.32 gives enterprises a new level of flexibility, but flexibility alone doesn't solve the realities of large-scale deployments," said Gregory Laloy, IoT Product Line Director at Thales. "By combining our trusted eSIM technology and orchestration capabilities with SIMPL Wireless' Intelligent Connectivity Layer, we help organizations turn that flexibility into simple, scalable operations, and create a more open ecosystem for operators and technology partners."
