NEW YORK: Nomad Health, the leading digital marketplace for temporary healthcare jobs, today announced it ranked 66th on the Deloitte Technology Fast 500™. The company has achieved strong validation from the industry in 2023, also being named the No. 1 “Fastest-Growing U.S. Staffing Firm” by Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA) and recognized as a “Best Job Training Program in the U.S.” by the American Staffing Association (ASA).
A Joint Commission-accredited healthcare staffing company, Nomad’s growth has been fueled by increased demand for its AI-powered platform and capabilities that easily connect travel clinicians to open jobs all over the country, and help facilities fill their staffing needs quickly and efficiently. The company has helped thousands of healthcare facilities and networks in all 50 states to connect with more than 300,000 qualified traveling nurses and allied health professionals to fill critical positions and bridge the staffing gap at a 94% on-time start rate.
“The entire team at Nomad is committed to providing the healthcare industry with an efficient, effective, and easy-to-use platform that enables healthcare facilities to quickly find and hire qualified temporary nurses and allied health professionals who want to take control of their own journeys,” said Alexi Nazem, M.D., co-founder and chief executive officer of Nomad Health. “We are grateful for this recognition from the industry, which validates our approach and mission of getting clinicians to where they are needed most -- at the patient’s bedside -- faster, easier, and at a lower cost.”
Deloitte Technology Fast 500 - Ranked No. 66
Now in its 29th year, the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 is a listing of the fastest-growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences, fintech, and energy tech companies in North America. Nomad ranked 66th on the list, achieving a 2,276% growth rate.
“Each year we look forward to reviewing the progress and innovations of our Technology Fast 500 winners. This year is especially celebratory as we expand the number of winners to better represent just how many companies are developing new ideas to progress our society and the world, especially during a slow economy,” said Paul Silverglate, vice chair, Deloitte LLP and U.S. technology sector leader. “While software and services and life sciences continue to dominate the top 10, we are encouraged to see other categories making their mark. Congratulations to all the winners who show us how creativity, hard work, and perseverance can lead to success.”
SIA’s Fastest-Growing U.S. Staffing Firms - Ranked No. 1
Founded in 1989, Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA) ranks the fastest-growing staffing firms in the United States each year. To qualify, companies must have a minimum of $1 million in U.S. revenue in 2018 and a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of at least 15% from 2018-2022.
Nomad was named No. 1 on the 2023 list with a CAGR of 208.3%. The median 2023 CAGR for all firms listed was 33.8%. 47 firms on the list cited travel nursing as a top-provided skill.
ASA Elevate Awards - Named a Best Job Training Program in the U.S.
Since 2018, the ASA Elevate Awards have recognized the staffing industry’s most innovative and effective workforce development programs designed to train, reskill, and upskill temporary and contract employees. Nomad Health was named an Elevate Award recipient for having a “Best Job Training Program in U.S. Staffing.”
“The ASA Elevate Award highlights the staffing industry’s commitment to helping people future-proof their careers through training, upskilling, and reskilling,” said Richard Wahlquist, chief executive officer at ASA. “By fostering innovation and empowering the workforce through skill development, Elevate Award honorees are a testament to the transformative impact of staffing on individuals and industries alike.”
