Italy launches the first European green tech distributor

Esprinet announces the founding of Zeliatech, a 100% controlled company positioning itself on the market as the first European green tech distributor

Companies

A new European green tech distributor, committed to "actively promoting environmental sustainability" by offering "innovative products and solutions that inspire and enable the global ecological transition". This is, in brief, Zeliatech: a new company founded by Italian distributor Esprinet SpA.

Zeliatech is totally controlled by Esprinet and is positioning itself on the market as "the first European green tech distributor". More in detail, the new company wants to serve - and most of all develop - a market adjacent to the one covered by the parent company: the double digital/green transition, where technology acts as an enabler for any potential improvement.

That's why Zeliatech will distribute, sell and rent of smart photovoltaics products, charging solutions for e-Mobility, Smart Building technologies, green data centers infrastructure solutions. And in the future Zeliatech will also offer related and value-added services.

Operating with this approach, Zeliatech aims to fill what Giovanni Testa, Chief Operating Officer of the Esprinet Group, defines as an European gap: "the lack of a large player capable of acting as a hub for products and solutions designed for environmental sustainability and energy efficiency".

And since "there is no green without digital", says Testa, combining products, solutions and specific skills, Zeliatech can serve all those customer who are now facing their green and digital transitions. And also enter in new promising market segments, such as agrivoltaics and energy communities.

"We also have the ambition to be at the centre of an ecosystem, collaborating with partners, suppliers and customers to create a business system capable of promoting the green transition through technology", added Sergio Grassi, Zeliatech Country Manager in Italy.

Being an integral part of the Esprinet Group's ecosystem and of its strategic vision, which includes the presidium of high margin markets, Zeliatech will of course leverage Esprinet's expertise. The new company will have at its disposal Esprinet's "logistical and financial capabilities along with marketing experience to support the sales process and demand generation, combined with a presence rooted throughout Southern Europe of the Group", explains Giovanni Testa.
