Organizations engage Cloudera ecosystem providers to improve resilience, governance, AI readiness, ISG Provider Lens® report says

STAMFORD, Conn.: $III #AI--Enterprises increasingly are using the Cloudera hybrid data platform to strengthen operations, improve data management and prepare enterprise environments for AI, according to a new research report published today by Information Services Group (ISG) (Nasdaq: III), a global AI-centered technology research and advisory firm.

The 2026 ISG Provider Lens® global Cloudera Ecosystem Partners report finds that companies are adopting Cloudera to unify data across on-premises infrastructure and multiple cloud environments as hybrid architectures become more complex. Organizations are also embedding policy enforcement, metadata management and data lineage into platform architectures to address increasing regulatory requirements and support secure AI initiatives.

“More than ever, enterprises need hybrid data platforms that provide operational flexibility while maintaining secure, well-managed data environments,” said Kathy Rudy, partner, ISG Data, Analytics and Technology Office. “The Cloudera platform helps companies establish a common foundation for analytics, AI and hybrid operations.”

A growing number of organizations are using Cloudera and related services to build unified hybrid architectures for managing distributed data environments. They are improving workload portability across cloud and on-premises infrastructure while simplifying data management and increasing visibility into enterprise information. As data estates expand, organizations are seeking platforms that support consistent operations over the long term.

Regional priorities continue to shape enterprise Cloudera adoption. Companies in North America are focused on large-scale modernization initiatives and AI enablement, while in Europe, enterprises are placing greater priority on data sovereignty, governance and regulatory alignment. Across parts of Asia Pacific, organizations are focusing on infrastructure scalability, operational efficiency and deployment flexibility as they modernize legacy data environments.

Organizations worldwide are also expanding their use of the Cloudera platform to support enterprise AI and analytics workloads. They are adopting capabilities for model management, observability and secure data access while integrating AI into broader data platform operations. Companies increasingly seek production-ready AI environments and operational practices that deliver measurable enterprise outcomes, ISG says.

“Enterprise expectations for data management now extend well beyond platform modernization,” said Gowtham Kumar Sampath, ISG principal analyst and lead author of the report. “Providers help organizations maximize the value of Cloudera by combining hybrid data expertise with governed AI capabilities and proven execution.”

The report also explores other trends affecting the Cloudera ecosystem, including growing enterprise emphasis on proof of customer-validated implementation outcomes and increasing scrutiny of AI model governance, observability and lifecycle management.

For more insights into the challenges relevant to enterprises seeking Cloudera ecosystem services, along with ISG’s advice for addressing them, see the ISG Provider Lens Focal Points briefing here.

The report evaluates the capabilities of 16 providers in one quadrant: Data and AI Modernization and Operationalization Services.

It names Accenture, IBM, Modak Analytics, puedata, Tech Mahindra and Wipro as Leaders in the quadrant.

In addition, Adastra is named as a Rising Star - a company with a “promising portfolio” and “high future potential” by ISG’s definition - in the quadrant.
