TUSTIN, Calif.: Wingspire Equipment Finance announced the closing of a $140 million large equipment financing transaction with a private equity-backed company providing GPU cloud computing capacity to AI labs, enterprise customers, and public-sector organizations. The funding advances the continued expansion of the company’s high-performance cloud platform.
The company operates a dedicated GPU cloud platform for AI workloads, enabling customers to access compute capacity for training, fine-tuning, and inference. The capital provided by Wingspire Equipment Finance funded high-density GPU servers that form part of the digital backbone needed for advanced AI workloads.
As demand for accelerated computing continues to grow, scalable capital has become essential. The financing helps the company expand its digital infrastructure, support customer growth, and remain responsive to the rapidly evolving compute market.
“AI infrastructure requires capital partners that understand both the equipment and the pace of the market,” said Spencer Jakemer, Vice President at Wingspire Equipment Finance. “These are large, capital-intensive investments that require substantial lending capacity and structuring expertise. We were pleased to provide a financing solution designed around the company’s expansion plans and customer demand.”
The transaction demonstrates Wingspire Equipment Finance’s expertise in financing large-scale digital infrastructure for the AI compute market, from GPU compute assets to the power and cooling systems required to operate them at scale.
