VIRGINIA BEACH, Va.: Commence, a health services, technology, and analytics platform backed by Pleasant Land, today announced the appointment of Greg Davis as its Chief Growth Officer. Davis will lead the company's growth organization, overseeing the continued expansion of its public sector and commercial lines of business.

Commence has scaled both organically and through acquisition, building upon a strong delivery record in support of mission-critical programs at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), and the Defense Health Agency (DHA). Greg’s appointment comes on the heels of a period of meteoric organic growth marked by recent significant wins that include a position on the CMS Research, Measurement, Assessment, Design, and Analysis (RMADA) 3 vehicle, as well as new awards in support of modernization efforts at the VA and DHA.

"We built Commence to compete at scale in the public health market, and the results have proven the model," said Pat Feliciano, Chief Executive Officer of Commence. "Greg has led high performing growth organizations at some of the largest firms in federal health and knows exactly what it takes to succeed at the level Commence is seeking to operate. We are excited to have him as part of the Commence leadership team."

Davis joins Commence from GDIT, where he served as Vice President of Federal Health, providing executive leadership in support of its $1.3 billion NIH line of business with full profit and loss accountability. Prior to GDIT, Davis was a senior executive at Booz Allen Hamilton, where he more than doubled the firm's NIH account, growing it from roughly $70 million to $150 million in annual revenue. Davis also has experience supporting PE-backed companies, previously serving as Chief Growth Officer of Emagine IT, in addition to leading business development for MSC and Dovel Technologies.

"Commence has built something rare: a tech-enabled delivery framework that couples credentialed subject matter experts and clinical expertise with a differentiated technology backbone to better support the federal health missions that matter most," said Davis.

Davis steps into the growth seat previously held by Nick Marchand, who is elevating into a Chief Strategy Officer role with Pleasant Land, where he will focus on mission-aligned thesis design, development, and portfolio strategy execution. In his time with Commence, Marchand shaped the company's AI-native approach to solutioning, while driving its strategy to expand the breadth of healthcare service and product offerings Commence delivers into the federal and commercial markets, which culminated in the recent RMADA win.

Marchand is grateful to have Greg on board to support Commence’s continued growth trajectory as he transitions into his new role with Pleasant Land:

"Greg’s track record of success in the public sector speaks for itself. It’s a win for the business to have an operator of his quality and expertise join Commence. I look forward to working with Greg to further establish Commence as an AI-native, new age contractor in the public health sector, while identifying complementary businesses with a similar focus on delivering high quality, mission critical capabilities in my new role with Pleasant Land.

I am passionate about the customer missions Commence supports, and nothing has been more rewarding than working with this team to turn that mission into real outcomes for the people these programs serve."
