Deployment of Evolv Express® and Evolv eXpedite™ adds Salt Lake City to Evolv’s growing dual-sport arena customer roster

WALTHAM, Mass.: Evolv Technologies Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: EVLV), a leading security technology company pioneering AI-powered solutions designed to create safer experiences, today announced that Evolv Express®, the company’s people-screening platform, and Evolv eXpedite™, the company’s bag-screening platform, has deployed at the Delta Center, the multi-purpose arena in downtown Salt Lake City, UT.

The arena, which is home to the Utah Jazz and the Utah Mammoth, seats between 14,000 and 19,000 guests depending on use and configuration. In addition to the two professional sports teams, the arena hosts a full calendar of concerts, shows, and special events. On average, more than 1.8 million guests attend some 320 events in a typical year.

The Delta Center deployments are part of a multi-year hardware and software subscription agreement between Evolv and Smith Entertainment Group, the holding company that owns the Jazz, Mammoth, and the arena, among other assets. The two organizations have also entered a marketing partnership, through which Evolv has been designated as an “Official Partner of the Utah Jazz,” an “Official Partner of the Utah Mammoth,” and the “Official Patron Screening Partner of the Delta Center.”

The Delta Center, which originally opened in 1991, is in the midst of an ambitious multi-year transformation designed to maintain the facility’s status as a premier dual-sport venue and position as the Salt Lake City region’s top entertainment destination. The Express and eXpedite systems are some of the many infrastructure and fan experience enhancements at the arena.

“We’re thrilled to include Evolv Express and Evolv eXpedite as part of our enhanced arrival experience at the Delta Center,” noted Blake Paris, Smith Entertainment Group Head of Venues and Entertainment Experience. "Our priority is to balance the critical objectives around public safety and guest experience, and Evolv understands that balance and helps us deliver the full experience our fans expect."

“We’re thrilled to welcome Delta Center to our growing customer roster of professional arenas,” said John Baier, Evolv’s Vice President of Sports & Entertainment. “Dual-sport venues like the Delta Center are among the most heavily booked in the world, balancing multiple sports tenants and other uses while operating at peak efficiency. It’s gratifying to be entrusted with such an important part of their fan experience.”

The Delta Center deployment is Evolv’s first in professional sports in Utah. Evolv also serves more than half of the dual-team (pro basketball and pro hockey) venues in the North American professional leagues, including iconic locations such as TD Garden in Boston and Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. More broadly, Evolv has more than 1,300+ customers in industries ranging from healthcare to education to industrial workplaces as well as iconic venues worldwide.
