DALLAS: Beryllium InfoSec, a leading cybersecurity provider for the DoD, GovCon, and Critical Infrastructure sectors, announces that the Cuick Trac Secure Enclave has achieved FedRAMP Moderate Equivalency (FRME) attestation. This milestone follows a thorough assessment by a FedRAMP-recognized Third Party Assessment Organization (3PAO). The Cuick Trac Managed Enclave helps organizations comply with FAR, DFARS, and CMMC requirements for safeguarding nonpublic federal information, including controlled unclassified information (CUI). This milestone underscores Beryllium InfoSec's commitment to delivering secure and compliant solutions that align with the stringent cybersecurity standards of the United States Federal Government and the Department of Defense.

The assessment was performed in alignment with the DoD's FedRAMP Moderate Equivalency Memorandum, issued in December 2023. This memo provides guidance for ensuring that cloud service offerings (CSOs) achieve 100 percent compliance with the FedRAMP Moderate security control baseline in order to support the DoD's mission-critical to secure Covered Defense Information (CDI) and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). By achieving FedRAMP Moderate Equivalency, the Cuick Trac Secure Enclave has demonstrated its ability to provide robust protection for sensitive data within a secure and fully managed cloud environment.

"We are thrilled to achieve FedRAMP Moderate Equivalency, a key commitment of trust, confidence, security, and compliance for our customers in the federal and defense contractor space," said Lincoln Neely, Beryllium InfoSec's Chief Executive Officer. "This accomplishment further demonstrates our dedication to supporting the DoD's digital transformation with secure, scalable, and innovative solutions, specifically for the small to medium size contractors."

Key highlights of Beryllium InfoSec's Cuick Trac achievement include:

  • Enhanced Security Posture: Meeting the FedRAMP Moderate Equivalency requirements ensures that the Cuick Trac Secure Enclave met 325 rigorous controls that make up the FedRAMP Moderate Security Control Baseline, addressing critical areas such as data encryption, continuous monitoring, and incident response.
  • Support for DoD and Federal Government Contractors: The achievement validates that the platform is equipped to handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) in accordance with DoD requirements, specifically DFARS 252.204-7012 and NIST SP 800-171, enabling seamless and secure operations.
  • Commitment to Excellence: The assessment process demonstrates Cuick Trac's proactive approach to maintaining the highest standards in cloud security and compliance.

"Achieving this 3rd party attestation positions us and our Cuick Trac solution as a trusted partner and solution for organizations seeking assessment (OSA) and organizations seeking certification (OSC) for CMMC Level 2 while continuing to leverage a purpose-built, quick to deploy, low cost and fully managed virtual CUI environment, without compromising security or compliance," said Jeff Baldwin, Beryllium InfoSec's Chief Information Security Officer.
