Frazier joins expanding leadership team to oversee technology strategy
RALEIGH, N.C.: Brightly, a Siemens company and the global leader in asset lifecycle management solutions, announced Wendy Frazier has been named chief technology officer. Her appointment to the executive team follows the appointment of Chief Financial Officer Saanchika Weerasinghe, who joined in February to further strengthen the finance organization.
Frazier joins Brightly Software from The Weather Company where she served for 25 years across the technology function, refining her expertise with data analytics, APIs, customer integrations and hardware and IoT rollouts. She has driven processes for full lifecycle development, improving quality and reducing defects across cloud-based, scalable applications while maintaining security compliance, improving uptime standards and enhancing reliability performance to drive user engagement. She has also served as board member of Women in Technology (WIT) since 2017.
In the role, Frazier will lead Brightly’s technology strategy and work closely with the product management organization to align team performance with business objectives, ensuring consistent sprint success. Together, these teams will continue delivering scalable solutions that empower organizations with data and insights to extend the lifetime value of their assets, facilities and infrastructure.
“Wendy brings more than a decade of experience leading global teams through changing market conditions, making her the right senior leader for our technology organization and growing executive team,” said Don Kurelich, chief executive officer at Brightly Software. “As we continue to evolve our products and solutions to drive exceptional client value, she will be an integral part of Brightly’s mission to be the partner for complete asset lifecycle management.”
“I’m thrilled to bring my experience to an innovative, leading global organization like Brightly and join an exciting, growing team,” said Frazier, chief technology officer at Brightly Software. “I’m eager to continue growing Brightly’s solution portfolio and enhancing client experience, usability and performance improvements to drive client success.”
