Zencity recognized for transforming how governments engage their communities and build public trust.

NEW YORK: #FCMostInnovative--Zencity, a leader in AI-driven community engagement for local governments, has been named to Fast Company’s prestigious list of the World’s Most Innovative Companies of 2025. This recognition is reserved for groundbreaking organizations that are reshaping industries, with recent honorees including OpenAI, Nvidia, Airbnb, and Canva.

At a time when trust in institutions is at historic lows, Zencity is using the latest technology to transform how local governments engage the public to be drastically more inclusive, timely and actionable.

Traditional public engagement methods — poorly attended meetings, paper surveys that capture a fraction of the population, and slow bureaucratic processes – have left many residents unheard. Zencity is eliminating these barriers by leveraging proprietary surveying technology, purpose built online sentiment analysis and other digital tools, making it easier for people to share their voices and for governments to act on real-time data at scale.

“Governments around the world are facing growing skepticism, yet local leaders have the power to rebuild trust through being more responsive, based on more inclusive and more timely engagement,” said Eyal Feder-Levy, CEO and Co-Founder of Zencity. “This recognition as one of Fast Company’s Most Innovate Companies 2025 underscores the work of hundreds of cities and agencies taking proactive steps to modernize governance.”

With over 400 local government partners, including 8 of the 10 largest U.S. cities, Zencity has helped agencies around the world increase participation and build more representative decision-making processes.

Zencity’s inclusion marks a milestone for government technology, making it one of the only govtech companies in history to receive this honor.

For too long, technologies serving government have been slow to innovate, and, as result, public-sector agencies have lagged behind the private sector in their capabilities. When government fails to be responsive, trust suffers. Zencity is changing that by leveraging the bleeding edge of AI and data to solve a core problem in government - collecting input, analyzing sentiment, and acting on it. This recognition is an important step in recognizing the importance of using modern technology to help government better address community needs.

The full list of Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies honorees is available at fastcompany.com and will be featured in the March/April issue of Fast Company magazine.
