Suppliers can now send clean traceability data to any retail, wholesale or restaurant customer through the automated, cloud-based ReposiTrak platform for as low as $49 per month
SALT LAKE CITY: ReposiTrak (NYSE:TRAK), the world’s largest food traceability and regulatory compliance network, leveraging its established inventory management and out-of-stock reduction SaaS platform, has expanded the capabilities of the ReposiTrak Traceability Network® to enable suppliers to share traceability data for any customer.
“The big grocery retailers and wholesalers have rolled out traceability programs. Each has a different set of requirements, which has created a host of technical and operational challenges for suppliers,” explained ReposiTrak Chairman and CEO Randy Fields. “Our new solution – Traceability for Everyone – allows suppliers to share the data in one place for many customers. We help the supplier to resolve any data errors, and generate a file that’s as clean and accurate as possible for their customers.”
Traceability for Everyone is an expansion of ReposiTrak’s traceability services. It allows suppliers to share the data for every customer, including those who do not require the use of ReposiTrak for traceability data sharing.
Here’s how it works:
The resulting data files are as clean and accurate as possible, created in accordance to each customer’s unique requirements, including the use of 856s and ASNs as needed.
By using ReposiTrak’s "Traceability for Everyone" solution, suppliers can:
“Over the last year, as we’ve worked to implement traceability for hundreds of suppliers, we’ve found that up to 35% of the files that initially come to us have some sort of error – typically missing or incorrect data,” continued Fields. “We not only help suppliers to getting the data flowing, we also help to create a clean file that meets the customer’s requirements and is easy to maintain and share on a regular basis.”
Suppliers can get started, learn more or prepare to connect by visiting the Traceability for Everyone page on the ReposiTrak website.
