Investment comes as commercial real estate industry undergoes major shifts driving demand for integrated property management solutions like Cove

WASHINGTON: Cove, a commercial property management software that unifies tenant experience and building operations to connect the entire building ecosystem, today announced a new investment from Lead Edge Capital, a leading growth equity firm. The new funding from Lead Edge Capital follows closely behind previous funding led by Nuveen Real Estate in 2024 and Blackstone Innovations Investments in 2022.

“Cove has grown rapidly by simplifying complex property operations in a way that’s both intuitive and impactful,” said Nimay Mehta, Managing Partner at Lead Edge Capital. “We’re excited to leverage our investor network to support their continued momentum as they redefine what’s possible in system consolidation, operational efficiency and tenant experience. Cove’s alignment with the needs of owners, operators and tenants makes them a true partner to the commercial real estate industry.”

Cove offers an all-in-one software platform that simplifies operations for stakeholders across commercial real estate—including property managers, landlords, and engineers. By consolidating communication, task management, and real-time insights into a single interface, Cove eliminates the need for multiple disconnected tools. The platform drives efficiency, reduces costs and elevates the tenant experience. Cove supports a wide range of property types—including office buildings, life science campuses, retail centers, industrial facilities, and medical offices.

“Cove combines building operations and tenant experience into one seamless platform,” said Adam Segal, co-founder and CEO of Cove. “With the support of our investors, Cove will expand our product to further simplify how real estate is managed and experienced. Our top priority is to support and empower owners and operators to do their job more effectively, and we are excited to welcome Lead Edge Capital as a key partner to help us reduce costs and increase efficiencies for our clients long into the future.”

The investment comes at a time of major transformation across the commercial real estate (CRE) industry. Hybrid work, shifting tenant expectations and rising operating costs are reshaping how buildings are managed and experienced. Cove is well-positioned to address these shifts, working closely with owners and operators to deliver tailored solutions to real operational challenges. Cove has built a strong, diverse and long-standing client base with high retention—including powering the tenant experience and building operations at Chicago’s Willis Tower, the largest multi-tenant office building in the Western Hemisphere.

The new investment underscores Lead Edge Capital’s dedication to identifying and investing in high-growth companies, further solidifying its role as a key player in the growth equity landscape. Lead Edge Capital’s current and prior real estate portfolio companies include ButterflyMX, Compass and Knock.
