Texas electrical construction service provider leverages ISNetworld® to enhance subcontractor safety processes

DALLAS: ISN, the global leader in contractor and supplier information management services, announced Bird Electric, a provider of utility, storm response, and electrical services, has selected ISNetworld as its primary subcontractor information management platform. ISN will support Bird Electric in implementing a consistent, data-driven approach to subcontractor oversight across its three divisions.

“Implementing ISNetworld helps Bird Electric move beyond fragmented tracking methods and ensure all our subcontractors are held to the same health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards,” said Nathan Egge, Vice President of Storm Response at Bird Electric. “Bird Electric is committed to creating a culture of accountability on and off the jobsite, and partnering with ISN helps us meet this goal.”

Headquartered in Texas, with locations in Midland, Mansfield, and Eastland, Bird Electric operates at the forefront of utility infrastructure and emergency storm response. An ISN contractor customer since 2010, Bird Electric has participated in numerous ISN User Group Meetings to share insights and best practices with other safety leaders in the industry. Previously relying on several internal systems for subcontractor qualification, Bird Electric made the strategic decision to implement ISNetworld for subcontractor management as a Contractor Operator. The company will leverage ISNetworld tools and services including RAVS 360™ to assess the implementation of subcontractor HSE programs, gain insights into company safety cultures, and provide actionable insights to help improve safety on jobsites.

“Bird Electric’s commitment to high safety standards and operational integrity is reflected in its early adoption of ISN tools and services that go beyond desktop review and compliance,” said Rick Dorsett, Vice President of Energy Operations at ISN. “ISN is proud to support Bird Electric as it strengthens subcontractor oversight and measures compliance more effectively.”
