Safeguarding Adlumin MDR Advanced users with financial protection of up to $100K per protected entity

BURLINGTON, Mass.: N-able (NYSE: NABL), a global software company delivering an end-to-end cyber resilience platform, today announced a new Cyber Warranty Program, designed for managed services providers (MSPs) to offer their customers added financial peace of mind. With the Adlumin Managed Detection and Response (MDR) Advanced package, MSPs can strengthen customer confidence with a $100,000 cyber warranty for each protected entity, helping provide financial protection in the event of a breach. This helps close gaps left by traditional cyber insurance and supports faster recovery and business continuity.

Cyber warranties are a vital component of any business resilience strategy, providing rapid financial support after an eligible incident to enable swift reimbursement for essential costs like forensic investigations, legal counsel, and data restoration. Cyber warranties act as a valuable complement to existing cyber insurance, which can often involve delays and longer claims processes. In partnership with Cysurance, N-able has introduced a program that enables MSPs to expand their service offerings to include warrantied protection, helping reduce the financial impact on companies affected by cyberattacks.

“Cyber warranties are becoming an essential part of the modern cybersecurity ecosystem. For MSPs, they offer a powerful way to strengthen service offerings and build customer trust. More importantly, for their end customers, cyber warranties provide financial protection and assurance, so that when a cyber incident occurs, they’re not facing the fallout alone,” said Kirsten Bay, Co-Founder and CEO at Cysurance.

The Cyber Warranty Program is designed to support:

Managed Services Providers:

  • Differentiate services and build trust: Embed financial protection, show confidence in solutions, and act as proactive risk mitigators versus reactive service providers.
  • Accelerate incident response: Cyber warranties provide fast reimbursement for breach costs, enabling immediate client action.
  • Reduce insurance complexity: Providing coverage for gaps like waiting periods and coinsurance shortfalls makes MSP services more comprehensive.

Small and Medium-Sized Businesses:

  • Enable immediate support and recovery: Cyber warranties provide fast financial relief for breach costs, enabling swift response and minimizing disruption.
  • Promote cyber hygiene: Mandates best practices like multi-factor authentication, patching, and regular backups – promoting strong cyber hygiene.
  • Deliver seamless assurance: Integrated into business agreements with minimal effort, warranties fill insurance gaps and help ensure business continuity.

“The warranty reflects the confidence we have in our best-in-class protection. It’s our way of reinforcing the value we deliver, when you have MDR, you’re already covered; the warranty simply underscores the strength of our solution,” said Troels Rasmussen, General Manager of Security at N-able. “Cyber warranties offer a competitive edge by embedding financial protection directly into your cybersecurity offering. Our Adlumin MDR Advanced solution empowers businesses to protect their SMB customers with AI-powered threat detection, expert-led analysis, and rapid incident response. Complementing this with a cyber warranty adds a crucial layer of financial protection, covering costs like remediation and legal fees, to help reduce the financial fallout of cyber incidents, which can cause a huge strain for many businesses.”

This new offer positions N-able as one of the few companies in the industry to provide direct financial cyber protection to MSPs and their customers, reinforcing N-able as a trusted security partner to help businesses stay operational in the face of cyberattacks.
