RIDGEFIELD PARK, N.J.: AlgoSec, a global cybersecurity leader, today announced that its AlgoSec SaaS platform has been independently assessed and certified to the Protected level under the Australian Government’s Infosec Registered Assessors Programme (IRAP) framework.

The IRAP Protected certification confirms that AlgoSec’s SaaS platform meets stringent Australian Government security requirements for handling Protected classified information. This assessment provides Australian government agencies and highly regulated organisations with confidence that AlgoSec can securely support critical network security, cloud connectivity, and compliance operations.

The certification applies to AlgoSec’s SaaS-delivered capabilities, including automated network security policy management, cloud security posture visibility, application connectivity mapping, and compliance orchestration across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. By achieving IRAP Protected status, AlgoSec enables organisations to safely manage complex security controls while maintaining operational agility and helps to accelerate cloud migration initiatives.

“Achieving IRAP Protected certification is a major milestone for AlgoSec and reflects our deep commitment to security, compliance, and trust,” said Avishai Wool, CTO and co-founder at AlgoSec. “Government agencies and regulated enterprises can now confidently deploy AlgoSec’s SaaS platform to manage and automate their network security controls in line with Australia’s highest security standards.”

The IRAP assessment reinforces AlgoSec’s focus on supporting digital transformation initiatives across the region, enabling secure cloud adoption, improving operational resilience, and supporting compliance obligations within highly regulated sectors such as government, critical infrastructure, and financial services. This certification builds on AlgoSec’s global compliance and security posture, including SOC2 and ISO27001.

“With IRAP Protected certification, AlgoSec removes a key barrier for government and regulated organisations looking to modernise their security operations,” added Avishai. “We are proud to support Australia’s most critical systems with a SaaS platform designed to deliver security, visibility, and compliance at scale.”

This milestone significantly strengthens AlgoSec’s ability to support public sector organisations and regulated industries across Australia and New Zealand. It reduces procurement friction, accelerates adoption of secure SaaS-based security management platforms, and helps teams consistently enforce security policy while meeting regulatory and governance requirements.
