WAYNE, Pa.: Run Payments today announced that it has been named ISO of the Year by the Electronic Transactions Association (ETA). The 2026 ETA Awards recognize individuals and organizations whose work is advancing the payments industry. Honorees will be celebrated at TRANSACT 2026, taking place March 18 to 20 in Atlanta.

The ISO of the Year Award highlights organizations that demonstrate leadership, innovation, strong business practices, and a commitment to serving merchants and partners. Run Payments was selected for its partner-centric operating system approach, which helps ISOs, agents, and software platforms onboard and activate merchants more efficiently while maintaining flexibility across multiple processors and gateways.

“Thank you to ETA for honoring RUN as ISO of the Year. Our mission is to give partners a smarter way to onboard, activate, and support merchants across an increasingly complex payments landscape. This recognition is a huge encouragement to our team and to the partners who are building that future with us,” said Rob Nathan, CEO and Co-Founder of Run Payments.

“The payments industry is the force behind innovations that make life easier for consumers and merchants,” said Jodie Kelley, CEO of the Electronic Transactions Association. “TRANSACT 2026 is the perfect place to recognize those payments professionals and organizations who have demonstrated extraordinary leadership.”

RUN’s platform is built around three core solutions. Run Partner serves as the operating layer for ISOs, agents, and software platforms, enabling end-to-end merchant onboarding, activation, portfolio management, operations and revenue sharing in one place. Run Merchant provides merchants with a unified experience for payments reporting, transaction management, funding visibility, and chargeback handling. Run Developer gives software platforms the integration tools they need to embed payments and connect to the right rails and fintech solutions for each use case.

In addition to Run Payments being named ISO of the Year, Megan Wheeler, Head of Partnerships at Run Payments, was recognized in ETA’s 2026 Forty Under 40 class, underscoring the company’s leadership in integrated payments and partner enablement.
