Working closely with TI and Synopsys to assure an optimized integration, the Green Hills SDK (Software Development Kit) features safety certified RTOSes (INTEGRITY® and µ-velOSity®), the µ-visor® hypervisor, next-generation MULTI® multicore software development tools, and the safety-certified Green Hills C/C++ Optimizing Compilers. The Green Hills SDK is unique by supporting all Arm® processor core complexes on the TDA5: the Cortex®-A720, Cortex-R52+, and Cortex-M55. This unique capability significantly simplifies the software development and system prototyping for vision AI, ADAS and central compute for the next generation of Software-Defined Vehicles (SDV).

To increase competitiveness while reducing BOM (Bill of Materials) cost and complexity, vehicle manufacturers are migrating their vehicle electronic architectures from fragmented and distributed ECUs to centralized and zonal compute architectures running on next-generation SoCs such as the TDA5 SoC family.
