Seasoned capital markets leader to steer finance strategy as hyperscale demand accelerates for cloud and AI

DENVER: Vantage Data Centers, a leading global provider of hyperscale data center campuses, today announced that Scott Beasley has been appointed global chief financial officer. Beasley, based in Denver, will lead Vantage’s global finance, accounting, capital markets, procurement and corporate development functions, reporting to President and CEO Sureel Choksi.

Beasley joins Vantage as the company continues scaling globally to meet growing demand for digital infrastructure. He brings deep experience leading capital-intensive businesses through transformation and expansion, including structuring financing, executing large investment programs and building disciplined operating models, to support Vantage’s long-term growth in the cloud and AI era.

“Scott is a proven finance leader with the capital markets expertise and operating rigor required to scale a global platform,” said Choksi. “He has navigated both public and private markets and consistently aligned capital strategy with execution, capabilities that will be critical as we expand to serve customers’ next wave of cloud and AI growth.”

Most recently, Beasley served as CFO of Frontier Communications, helping lead the company’s turnaround into the largest independent fiber provider in the U.S. During his tenure, Frontier executed an approximately $12 billion fiber investment program, completed more than $5 billion in debt offerings and introduced a $2.1 billion asset-backed securitization backed by fiber-to-the-home infrastructure. Earlier this year, Frontier was acquired by Verizon for $22 billion. Previously, Beasley was founding CFO of Arcosa Inc. where he helped lead the company’s spinoff into a publicly traded infrastructure products business.

“Vantage has built an exceptional global platform and strong relationships with customers and capital partners,” said Beasley. “I’m excited to help advance our financial strategy as the digital infrastructure market evolves, so we can continue delivering for customers and creating shareholder value for investors.”

As part of the leadership transition, Sharif Metwalli will serve as chief financial officer, North America, leading finance strategy and operations across the company’s largest regional market. Metwalli previously served as global chief financial officer and played a central role in developing Vantage’s pioneering capital markets and equity financing strategy and supporting the company’s international growth.
