John Novak Joins Firm, Expanding Tech Capabilities

STERLING, Va.: #ATA--JK Technology Services (JKTS) has grown 111% this year to date as it meets the rapidly growing demands of public and private enterprises’ IT and data center moving-related needs and brought on mission critical executive John Novak to further growth goals. JKTS offers specialized support at multiple levels including storage, final mile logistics, craning and rigging services in the Northern Virginia market and beyond.

“JK Technology Services is meeting the expanding and real need in our market for specialized services in the data center and IT space. As our numbers reveal, our continued investments in top talent and honing JKTS’s product expertise are positioning JKTS at the forefront. With the addition of John Novak on our sales team, we are continuing to add bench strength and expand our breadth of services, including in rigging,” explained David Cox, president, JK Moving Services, nation’s largest independently owned moving and storage company and parent company of JKTS.

JKTS is headquartered in Northern Virginia, which is home to more than 12 million square feet of commissioned data center space, handling an estimated 70% of the world’s internet traffic. To best serve this market, the firm made significant infrastructure investments with the goal of becoming a single source for complex, end-to-end data center support and IT relocation projects.

This investment has included bringing key players into the mix over the past year, including Mike Lozupone, vice president, Business Development/Technology Services, who came from DataBridge Sites, and Adam Nelson, account executive, with a background in moving and rigging, and now John Novak. Novak is joining JKTS as vice president, sales. John brings a wealth of experience to the role, including 15 years of data center services experience in a wide range of functions. Given his understanding of warehousing, final mile logistics, and craning and rigging, Novak has the unique ability to build upon the JKTS infrastructure and help take it to the level.

Cox added: “We are located at the nation’s data center hub. These have specific logistical and moving needs, and we are committed to meeting those needs and providing a best-in-class experience. John’s knowledge and expertise in the data center market will be invaluable in supporting our growth goals. We welcome him to the team.”
