Enhanced PO matching applies AI at the line level for faster reconciliation, stronger controls, reduced exceptions and accelerated approvals

DALLAS: Yooz, an AI-powered finance platform leader, today introduced intelligent Line‑Level Matching, an enhancement that brings item-level automation and accuracy to invoice reconciliation. Available to all clients on April 7, this expanded capability applies AI to each invoice line, enabling organizations to reduce discrepancies, speed approvals and strengthen financial controls.

Reconciling multi-page invoices line by line is often slow and error-prone. Mismatches in quantities, pricing or item descriptions can stall approvals and increase audit and compliance pressure. Line-Level PO Matching automates this work so teams can spot discrepancies immediately and keep a clear record of what changed and why.

With AI-driven Line-Level PO Matching, Yooz clients can:

  • Extract and match invoice lines automatically against complex, multi-page PO lines, including product codes, descriptions, quantities, unit prices and totals.
  • Surface exceptions faster with matched and unmatched lines, clearly flagged for quick review across multi-page invoices.
  • Use AI to spot discrepancies and guide resolution, including intelligent adjustment recommendations for price, quantity or item mismatches, with one-click exception handling.
  • Apply tighter controls at the line level with configurable routing based on discrepancy type or threshold, plus a complete audit trail.

The capability is designed for quick adoption, with a guided, intuitive interface that doesn’t require specialized IT training.

“Finance teams are being asked to move faster while holding the line on control and transparency,” said Laurent Charpentier, CEO of Yooz. “Line-level matching helps teams deliver both. When you reconcile what was ordered and what was billed down to each item, you cut out the back-and-forth that slows approvals and you get a more transparent, defensible record of spend.”

Line-Level PO Matching is designed for CFOs, controllers and AP teams, especially in organizations that rely on high-volume purchasing and require tighter item-level control. It’s also suited for partners and system integrators supporting industries where line accuracy matters, including manufacturing, automotive and construction.
