RIDGEWOOD, N.J.: Castine, the global leader in commission management systems, today announced the launch of AI capabilities embedded across its entire platform - spanning broker and asset manager workflows. The release marks an industry first in commission management, putting AI-driven intelligence directly inside the tools firms already rely on every day.

  • AI-powered invoice and payment processing for brokers and IRPs
  • AI-powered broker reviews
  • AI-powered research overlay across internal and external content, market data, and key documents

These capabilities extend Castine’s two-decade commitment to building tools that sharpen the judgment of asset managers and brokers, not replace it.

Asset Managers gain an AI assistant built into Castine’s Broker Evaluation tools and Research Management System. The AI supports PMs by analyzing interactions and feedback, then suggesting both numeric scores and commentary, accelerating evaluations without overriding professional judgment. Broker liaisons can generate final scorecard comments for brokers and IRPs. “We are giving managers tools to fine-tune their decision-making, not handing it off to a machine,” said Robin Hodgkins, Castine’s president.

Research Management (RMS) now embeds AI across a firm’s internal and external research, market data, and the broader document universe that underpins sound investment decisions. Teams can surface, synthesize, and act on relevant content faster than ever before.

Brokers benefit across client agreements and a new AI-driven invoice payment processing capability. The system automatically extracts key details from uploaded research invoices and populates the corresponding payment requests for brokers and IRPs. Administrators review and approve AI-generated entries before they enter the payment workflow, reducing manual effort, cutting errors, and delivering a faster, cleaner payment experience for brokers and their clients.

“Castine uses AI to help customers make better decisions, faster,” said John McGough, Castine’s Global Head of Business Development. “There is no substitute for the expertise our users bring. We’re giving them better tools to get to the right answer as quickly as possible.”
