BOSTON: MOCA Systems, Inc. (MSI) today announced that its services division, MOCA Services, has achieved Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2, validating the company’s ability to protect Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) in accordance with Federal requirements.

MSI is among the first program management and owner’s representative firms to achieve CMMC Level 2 certification, which it received after completing a rigorous audit by a Certified Third-Party Assessment Organization (C3PAO).

Andy Calkins, President of MSI’s Services Division, said: “With this certification, MSI is leading the way in how we support a full range of design and construction projects in a cybersecure manner. We are committed to setting a path of continuous compliance and ensuring compliant information security going forward.”

Large-scale defense construction and infrastructure initiatives-such as military facilities and strategic installations-often involve CUI related to site design, logistics, and operational planning. As the world becomes more connected, and threats targeting critical infrastructure and defense programs grow in scale and sophistication, safeguarding sensitive project data has likewise become more complex.

MSI is a program and construction management firm with a long history of supporting Federal services, agencies, and affiliated programs, both directly and through its work with leading defense contractors. Operating within complex, data-rich project environments across organizations like USACE, NAVFAC, DOE, and other defense-related agencies, MSI recognizes that safeguarding sensitive information is essential to mission success.

Achieving CMMC Level 2 certification demonstrates MSI’s ability to meet rigorous cybersecurity requirements, ensuring sensitive project data is protected across the lifecycle of defense infrastructure project delivery.
