BOSTON: As enterprises push AI beyond pilots and into production, a new challenge is emerging: most data foundations were never built for AI. Starburst, a leading enterprise intelligence platform, today announced it will host its annual AI & Datanova conference May 27-28, 2026 in Miami Beach, Florida and online. AI & Datanova 2026 will bring together enterprises and technology innovators to explore how AI is deployed in enterprise environments.

Participants will hear from leaders at companies like NVIDIA, GEICO, and Highmark Health about the latest trends in AI infrastructure. AI isn’t being held back by models. It’s being held back by data that is fragmented, inconsistently defined, and difficult to govern across systems. Without consistent context, AI systems fail to deliver meaningful or reliable outcomes. Conversations will reflect a broader shift across the industry, as organizations move from isolated AI experiments to systems that can operate reliably on real, enterprise-wide data.

AI & Datanova 2026 is focused on how organizations across sectors are making that shift-moving from isolated use cases and pilots to production-scale systems that can operate across distributed, governed enterprise data environments.

In the opening keynote, Starburst co-founder and CEO Justin Borgman will discuss why the shift from traditional business intelligence to enterprise AI is proving to be more than an upgrade for many organizations-exposing the limits of data architectures built for reporting, not real-time AI systems.

Sessions will highlight how leading organizations are moving AI into production across infrastructure, operations, and highly regulated environments. The event will showcase what a modern, trusted data foundation looks like in practice-built on data products, governed self-service access, and AI-ready data consumption across distributed systems, making data usable, understandable, and actionable across the enterprise.

A glimpse at the speaker lineup:

  • NVIDIA: In a fireside chat, Starburst CEO Justin Borgman joins NVIDIA’s Todd Mostak to break down how GPU-powered infrastructure is redefining the infrastructure required to support AI at enterprise scale.
  • GEICO: Bala Natarajan shares how GEICO is putting AI agents into production-coordinating workflows across systems and redefining how enterprise architectures need to operate.
  • Highmark Health: In a fireside chat, Nik Acheson discusses what it actually takes to fund and scale AI while balancing innovation with cost, complexity, and hard platform decisions.
  • AI-Ready Data in Financial Services: Leaders from Citizens Bank, TIAA, and MinIO share what it takes to make data AI-ready in regulated environments, where governance, risk, and consistency are non-negotiable.
  • Enterprise panel: Gresham, Fitch Group, Vizient, and Qlik executives compare how organizations across industries are modernizing data foundations to support AI across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
