A new kind of legal leadership experience combining emerging technology, operational innovation, and retreat-style programming for the modern legal industry.

MILWAUKEE: Neostella, the company pioneering the legal industry with the first fully connected case management platform, wrapped up its second annual user conference, NeoSummit, last week in Fort Lauderdale. The conference saw 230+ legal professionals come together for two days of keynotes, panels, and hands-on sessions focused on legal tech innovation and operational excellence.

The speaker lineup included a keynote from Amanda Knox, Neostella CEO Matt Lautz, and legal leaders and strategists. Beyond the keynotes, various technology partners and law firms discussed important trends emerging in the industry, with conversations ranging from change management and AI integration, to the operational friction that slows down law firms.

Neostella’s product keynote on Day Two opened by exploring where legal work breaks down. CEO Matt Lautz, VP of Product Brian Mayer, and VP of Partner Apps Samm Karshenas also introduced brand new, industry-defining platform capabilities designed to help high-volume firms improve visibility, consistency, and connection across their operations.

“NeoSummit is one of the only conferences I’ve attended that focused not just on technology and strategy, but on the human stakes behind operational decisions,” said Lashay Dodd, Director of Operations at The Driscoll Firm. “The conversations around leadership, accountability, and client trust made the event uniquely impactful.”

NeoSummit also highlighted the growing collaboration across the legal technology ecosystem. Sponsors including Provana, Foundation AI, LexRight, Supio, Hona, USClaims, LawPro.ai, MoveDocs + Oasis Financial, Banjaxed, Lawmatics, Confido, Lawyer.com, Eve, and Lexamica contributed to conversations around innovation, operational strategy, and the future of legal services.

“The vision behind NeoSummit was to create something rare in the legal industry. A space built around ideas, collaboration, and real innovation, not just product pitches,” said Josie Slaughter, VP of Marketing & GTM at Neostella. “Every law firm operates differently. We wanted to bring the industry’s best perspectives together, so that attendees could learn the most effective ways to improve their firms. The energy felt in the room, the conversations happening, and the feedback we received from attendees made it clear we provided something special.”

Beyond the sessions, NeoSummit created space for connection and reflection with networking events, wellness activities, and a beachside closing celebration.
