SEATTLE: Carbon Robotics, the worldwide leader in physical AI for agriculture, has been recognized on the 2026 CNBC Disruptor 50 list. This is the third consecutive year Carbon Robotics has been named a CNBC Disruptor, following appearances on the list in 2024 and 2025.

The CNBC Disruptor 50 honors the fastest growing and most innovative private companies that are transforming their industries and the world through technology. Carbon Robotics is included alongside other companies shaping the future of the global economy, including Anthropic, OpenAI, Anduril, and Databricks.

The latest recognition from CNBC underscores Carbon Robotics’ continued growth and momentum. For the fiscal year ending Jan. 31, 2026, Carbon Robotics surpassed $100 million in annual revenue and now has customers in 15 countries worldwide, with a significant presence in North America, Europe, and Australia and New Zealand. In February, the company announced the launch of the world’s first-ever Large Plant Model, a new foundational AI “brain” trained on 150 million plants that is the foundation for the AI operating system behind the LaserWeeder® and Carbon ATK (Autonomous Tractor Kit) products.

To date, Carbon Robotics’ systems have eliminated over 40 billion weeds in the field, covering more than half a million acres – demonstrating the company’s industry-changing contributions to farmers through AI-driven technology.

“We’re excited to be recognized again by CNBC as a Disruptor 50 company,” said Paul Mikesell, CEO and Founder of Carbon Robotics. “We remain focused on using AI and robotics to help farmers grow food without relying on chemical herbicides and provide them with a solution that results in lower costs and higher crop yields, quality, and consistency.”

The CNBC Disruptor 50 list showcases today’s most innovative companies reshaping their industries. Companies are evaluated based on extensive quantitative and qualitative criteria, alongside insights from CNBC’s editorial staff and CNBC’s Disruptor 50 Advisory Council, a group of 50 international innovation and entrepreneurial experts.
