TORONTO: Samsung Canada today announced Ask Us Anything, a new initiative designed to answer Canadians' questions about foldable smartphones.
Foldable smartphones are moving quickly from emerging technology to the mainstream. As more Canadians consider whether their next phone could be a foldable, the questions that once kept the category at a distance – from durability and everyday use to productivity and switching – have become more immediate. Canadians want to know whether the foldable experience is ready for the way they live now.
After eight years of foldable innovation, Samsung has helped shape and advance the category from its earliest days. Along the way, Samsung has seen consumer questions evolve from understanding the technology itself to understanding how foldable devices fit into everyday life.
Ask Us Anything was created for this moment: to replace uncertainty with practical guidance from people who know foldables firsthand. Bringing together perspectives from Samsung Members, creators and reviewers, the initiative gives Canadians timely access to real-world experience across work, entertainment, photography, travel and more – so they can make a more informed decision about what comes next.
"Samsung has spent the last eight years pioneering and advancing the foldable category," said Tarik Akad, Vice President, Mobile Experience, Samsung Canada. "Today, foldables are attracting more interest than ever before, and the conversation is evolving alongside it. People want to understand not only what foldables can do, but what it's actually like to live, work and create with them every day. Ask Us Anything reflects our confidence in our product lineup, our eight years of expertise and our willingness to face whatever our customers might ask us."
Answers From People Who Know Foldables
Ask Us Anything brings together experienced voices across technology, photography, gaming, travel, lifestyle and everyday Galaxy use. Their perspectives will be grounded in firsthand experience and reviewed for factual accuracy.
Members of the squad include Canadian tech creators Matt Moniz (@mattmoniz123) and Andres Vidoza (@andresvidoza), Team Galaxy creator Liv Biermann (@itslivb) and more.
Canadians can follow #GalaxyAskUsAnything or tag @SamsungCanada with the hashtag to ask questions and see responses from the squad in real time across the internet.
Switching Has Never Been Easier
Many of the questions Canadians have about foldables centre on what happens after they decide to make a change. Recent updates are designed to remove more of that friction. On compatible devices, Smart Switch1 can begin wirelessly with a QR code, move more types of data from iOS to Galaxy and help a new phone feel familiar sooner, while enhanced Quick Share2 supports direct sharing with AirDrop3 on supported devices.
