CHICAGO: Cuesta Partners (“Cuesta”), a Chicago-based AI and data technology firm, today announced a strategic partnership with Keboola, a self-service data operations platform. Cuesta now offers Strata, an AI foundation built on Keboola technology, to mid-market and private-equity-backed companies in the United States.
With Strata, AI agents work from the company’s own knowledge: they answer questions, prepare analyses and take on everyday work, and every result points back to its source. Companies get both the technology and the team that makes it useful.
Most companies already have access to capable AI models. The challenge is everything around them: numbers spread across different ERPs and spreadsheets in every company, knowledge that lives in a few people’s heads, and AI pilots that never scale. Strata works as a company brain. It connects CRM, ERP and finance systems with files, slides and email, securely and with governed access. Cuesta ran it inside its own firm first: every employee could sign in within eight days, and in an internal Cuesta test of 30 questions, Strata answered all 30 correctly, while ChatGPT and Claude, connected to the same files, passed 59 to 78 percent. See the full results.
“We didn’t want to recommend something we hadn’t run ourselves, so we put an AI foundation to work inside Cuesta first,” said Riley Scott, Co-Founder and Partner of Cuesta Partners. “Our people now ask questions across our own past projects and numbers and get answers they can trace to the source. Our clients are asking for exactly that, and now we can deliver it to them with Strata.”
The partnership combines two strengths. Keboola brings the platform that can be trusted with a company's data. Cuesta brings the team that knows how the business runs and which questions matter most. It builds on Cuesta’s work with CFOs: the governed numbers finance relies on become the context every team’s AI works from, from pricing and sales to planning. With each client, Cuesta works with the client to decide where to start, sets up the definitions and access rules, builds the first use cases and trains the teams who use them. First projects focus on building an AI-native commercial engine, where questions come up every day and the answers sit across quote-to-cash, CRM, finance and shared files.
The companies have set two goals for the partnership. The first is to bring Strata to Cuesta’s clients across the U.S. mid-market. The second is to make it repeatable for private equity firms: a fund can start with a short review of its portfolio and then roll the same approach out company by company, with each company on its own instance and its data kept separate.
“A good AI model is now easy to get. The hard part is the context underneath it: your own data, defined the same way everywhere, with clear rules on access and cost,” said Pavel Doležal, Co-Founder and CEO of Keboola. “We build and run that AI foundation with our company brain technology. Cuesta knows how these companies work and turns it into something their teams use every day. Together we can take a company from its first question to company-wide use.”
Live session on November 10
Cuesta and Keboola will introduce Strata in a 30-minute live online session on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM ET. Riley Scott and Pavel Doležal will show what changes when AI works from a company’s own data, with time for questions. Kyle Hutchins of Cuesta Partners moderates. Save your seat.
Strata is available now to companies in the United States through Cuesta Partners. Learn more at cuestapartners.com and agnesbrain.ai.
