Certifications strengthen DAELIM BELEFIC’s North American dry type transformer offering, supported by manufacturing expansion in China, U.S-based facility and technical service.

BEIJING: DAELIM BELEFIC, with a manufacturing center in Jiangsu, China, and a facility in Houston, the United States, today announced that its 1,000 kVA VPE dry-type transformer, model SGB-1000/0.48-0.48, has received UL certification for the U.S. and Canadian markets. The certified three-phase transformer is intended for integration into a mobile microgrid application in the United States.

Dry-Type Transformer Technology and Applications

Dry-type transformers are used in commercial buildings, data centers, industrial facilities, and other power distribution applications where indoor installation, equipment safety, and maintenance requirements are important considerations. In data centers, dependable power distribution equipment helps support electrical infrastructure serving IT equipment, cooling systems, and other critical loads.

Building on Existing Manufacturing Capabilities

DAELIM BELEFIC is continuing to expand its manufacturing center in Jiangsu, China, building on its existing dry-type transformer and distribution transformer production capabilities. Phase II of the expansion project, initiated in 2025, is intended to further strengthen manufacturing capabilities, enabling us to serve our world wide customers with greater efficiency, flexibility, and reliability.
